I'm getting a Sanctioner for my enforcers, and I'll be using some of the parts to convert an Armbot into a second one.

Does anyone have advice on the best weapon choices and tactics.

Each weapon fitting can fit a 2mm magnet easily so you could swap them out easily until you find a good fit for you.
Fan of the mancatcher/webgun myself.

Unfortunately I'm planning to build two Sanctioners (one based on a Armbot) from one set of spruce, so I won't have the spare parts to magnet the weapons.

Has anyone actually used the Sanctioner and can give me advice on it?

There are 3 .stl options for Automata that I've seen if 3D printing's available to you. None are direct copies, but one is close (head's in a different position) and another's also similar.

Edit: The 3rd option isn't available yet - but PrintMinis does a robot coming out this Month I assume (its already on their Tribe). That one's the most different from the original design however by a wide margin. Though on my own Sanctioner I used the body from the 2nd option with the PrintMinis weapons (and the head off a Titan stl too).

As for using the Sanctioner. I've yet to unfortuntaly. From what I've read it dies quickly as its a massive target that doesn't get cover, can be seen by everyone and looks dangerous. So it gets shot as a priority.

Web weapons are broken, so just go for that. If you want a jack of all trades then go with the sledgehammer or for more ranged go with the concussive ram. I'd go with the sledgehammer as its not as strong, paired with the claw (due to its traits) - partly as it could also do damage to vehicles too.

Oh, and I'd take Heavy Carapace Armour as standard for the amount of fire something like the Sanctioner may attract.

Brutes are there to be shot at. The more they get shot the less fire your ammo 4+ bolters are taking...
Once pinned it gains all the normal bonus from being pinned even though it is a chunky monkey.
