After a delivery of @Mad Robot bits my Yakmas conversion is built. Onto painting and basing.

I have converted and painted a thing for the recipient. Need to get it varnished and boxed up at some point so I can post it well in advance of any seasonal postal issues. My work is going to be super busy so I wanted it done and dusted before I run out of time.

To preserve some degree of mystery, at some point in the last two weeks, I have finished and posted my miniature!

...In hindsight, with the way the postal services tends to work around Christmas, I suspect it wouldn't matter that I obfuscate the real postal date buuuuut hey, why not.

I've also left my gift in the care of my LPSTE (Local Postal Service Teenage Employee). I shall light a thousand candles and bathe my firstborn in goats blood. Or cross my fingers? The crossing fingers thing is probably more appropriate...

The unplanned pause due to organ malfunction is over, will get the model off and away tomorrow, if the post office is open.

Post office was closed on Monday due to holidays (confound you, Virgin Mary!) but the package went on its merry way into the unknown yesterday.

Well, the delivery service was kind enough to inform me who my secret santa is. Very difficult to keep secrets in this day and age... (Feeling old now)
