I like the idea behind the lighting, but think the colours are a bit too bright for the scene. But you want it fairly bright to see everything. Differently bright? Not sure. Maybe the green is too emerald and the blue too sky? I like reds, purples, and blues as underhive lighting colours.
Yeah the lights are probably a bit too hot for Necro scenery. They generally overlight scenes and use brighter colors of paint in movie scenes because the camera does not get it all. This is especially true for 3D film.

Yeah that is really slick

At the far end of this style of terrain making you could have wholesale shelving and a forklift and just choose from a whole assortment of pallet based table arrangements as a gaming room. Modularity is for suckers :D
To be honest, I had seen one on one of the FB groups, so started looking for one. Found a relatively local Craigslist freebie ad that said they had six to get rid of so I went and picked them up (there were seven), so now I have a pile of them. Anybody in the San Francisco Bay Area need one? :)

And yes, at the far, far end of reality, when I find a free, air conditioned warehouse with shelving I could do this...

i think it’s brilliant, and wish i had one to play with (wrong coast)... and then i think: how playable would it actually be? there’s really not that much room between the top and bottom for arms to reach through and move things around

More room than you would think. Openings are 3.5" tall x 10.5 wide.

Not my pics.

Had a few of the guys over for a Necromunda scenery painting day and paint techniques workshop.

The guy with most of the scenery that needed to be painted could not make it at the last minute, but fortunately I had prepared some stuff for paint (primed/ gunk washed), so we did get some stuff done. One guy got his got his N17 terrain pieces worked on and another brought a couple of pieces to play with. Here are a few pics of pieces the communal paint team got some base colors on. My newly made up washes were too dark, so I am going back in and reworking on most of the pieces. Still lots of detail to do, but it was a good start.
