They were not actually 3". Just measured them. They were 2 3/4" from floor to floor and 2 11/16" from floor to underside of the next floor.

Those are some crazy set ups, and they look awesome! I just know I’d reach in to move a model up the stairs and give the whole thing a good hive quake with an elbow or something.

That is a bit narrow. ORB bulkheads were 3” and I thought that was a little tight at times. And that was when I was younger and more dexterous…

Oh dear, I'd rather not remember that. That kind of thing happened to me a lot when I was younger. Somehow I wasn't paying attention and boom, boom, a glass was spilled over with my elbow and similar. Then I was embarrassed too. Luckily things like that were a long time ago and are usually over.

I would’ve sworn they were a solid 3”…. Maybe they shrank with age?

You've done some really inspired stuff with the Rampart that I hadn't considered. I might have to use some of those ruined floors when I'm nearing the end of my usable terrain.

Have you checked out the Facebook page I started for Rampart? Have recorded all of my mods there.

KublaCon 2023 Part 1

What? An actual game convention? With a Necromunda game? Amazing!

We had our holiday gift exchange scheduled for 2020 (bystander or "Karen" figure) and 2021 ("better than GW" Necromunda shops) but things have been a mess since Covid. There were a couple of gift handoffs during the Covid years, but this was the first time we actually got together to play and do some gift exchanges.

First off we have "Trixie and the Flea” that was done for my Escher gang. Its an Escher with her male slave in a display box.

The other bystander or "Karen” figure is my Zombie Lawyer Karen, the ultimate Karen; she’s never going to stop…

Then we have two "better than GW" Necromunda shops, starting off with my rusty cage shop “kit". Its somewhat modular so can be any used as any kind of a shop that the new owner wants to build the goods for. The counter top is a separate piece that can be removed and replaced with a new counter top with different goods glued to it. Signage can be modular too. The roof and wire “walls" in the front and back are easily removable for access to the interior. The wire mesh is actual scavenged rusty steel wire window screen.

KublaCon 2023 Part 2

And then there is the piece de resistance, Trevor’s mind 'dog'gling "Prime Dawgs” automated walking hot dog stand! The attention to detail is outstanding with robot arm, legs and motors, dawgs, buns, condiment containers, menus and signage (don’t look too closely at that sign…). Just completely over the top! Thank you Trevor!

KublaCon 2023 Part 3

The game on Mario’s Hive City table was a relatively simple shoot’em up with three new 1000 point gangs on each side trying to shoot up the other side (points for ‘hits’). There were also computer control terminals controlling the dome’s enviornmental conditions that could be randomly activated using an adjacent model's Leadership stat that caused some excitement. My juve turned off the lights at an inopportune time, but eventually got them back on. High winds knocked plenty of figs off of upper levels…There were also ammo locations (red flags) where empty guns could be reloaded, but it took a long time to get to them and then back into the battle, so they did not get used much.

My cross field opponent tried to go through a narrow alley (blue colored street) that I had baited with a shotgunner, right into my ambush of two autopistol juves on the stairway and my HTH element. That was the end of his gang at the cost of a juve and Dice III (who got back up twice with flesh wounds to end the game with BS and WS of 1). With him gone I started shooting enemy models off of the high bridge that he was using to attack my neighbor, and the bodies hit the floor a few times...
