I guess it´s my turn now to show off some stuff of my BB collection but I will concentrate on a single team. It´s my favourite soccer team SV Werder Bremen and the players depicted in the album were actual players in the 80s and early 90s though not all of them played together on the the same team. Just think of it as my personal All-Star team. Do I follow soccer nowadays? Nope, I even don´t know any of the actual players on the current team.
A lot of people on this board won´t recognize any of these guys but one former player should be properly introduced to you:
Rudi Völler (SV Werder Bremen)
He was one the most famous and beloved soccer players in Germany and was even Bundestrainer. A very nice guy that could even talk proper trash, if the situation demanded it. The two stuck up, arrogant and insufferable pricks by the name of Delling and Netzer acting as "experts" were badmouthing the german soccer team after the 1:1 vs. Iceland in 2003. Rudi Völler responded in kind with his memorable "Wutrede":

In addition to the usual line up of the team is also an Ogre by the name of Kowalski. This name was inspired by a TV show from the 90s namely Ren & Stimpy. These two cartoon characters were infamous for all sorts of gross humour and slapstick. Another character portrayed in the show was Kowalski, a seven year-old human being resembling an Ogre who was fostered by Ren & Stimpy. His favourite food & drink was MEAT.
Also three star players are shown (Griff Oberwald, Zug and Zara the Slayer). Apart from the players, SV Werder Bremen managed to hire a Team Wizard.
While I painted my team, I took some efforts to pay hommage to the cheat sheet of BB from 2nd namely the stats from the Human and Orc teams. The positions were colour-coded in these days because the figures were monopose. Therefore the players on my team have coloured towels to make identification easier for the positions:
White: Thrower
Red: Blitzer
Yellow: Catcher
Grey: Lineman
