Finished painting my Human and Orc teams from the last starter set. They’ve only been WIP for about 5 years.

Only outshined in my local league by some bloody greenskins, this group has been a lot of fun to put together and play with. With that said, with a name like that, I may in the future phase these models out for Punga Miniatures' Pi'rats line to reinforce the nautical theme.
Yep, all in contrast paints. They look great. Are they done in contrast paints?
Gotta do those bases though.
Apart from aesthetics, the models really only count as having the ball when the ball token is placed on their bases, be it pegged or otherwise.Unrelated note, but I've never liked BB models where they have the ball in their hands.. its the BB equivalent of the tactical rock, do they bring their own ball to pose with mid game? Are there rules around game balls and posing balls?

I understand why you say that but my counterpoint is that I like to have all my positions to be visually identifiable by their stance (so I know who is who across the table) as well as having each stance look close to what each positional should be doing on the pitch.
This is true, though some have running rather than throwing stances. Also, you can distinguish positions by colour (usually on the base rim). That dates back to when whole teams were made of one identical model.
Not sure whether that's just a joke or a serious question, but the game does not require models to hold balls.
