https://www.warhammer-community.com...iature-of-the-month-and-an-eye-of-horus-coin/ I went to my local GW, first saturday equal new miniature of the month. This month it's a kill team cultist of Khorne with Bionic legs. So i built one and was thinking this so perfect for Healot cult, a corrupted house or of cours Corps Grinder.

So i created this post with the idea that we could post here miniature that we thinl could be great in necromunda.

I like that mini and as a pitslave conversion it could work well, but is the above topic not for GW & non-GW miniatures?

*narrows eyes*

Domain looks like filth... subdirectory doesn't help, suggests nun-filth...

*click*

Ooh a verification thing! Gotta be filth!

*loads*

I don't know if I'm more disappointed in the website, you or myself.

(It's not filth btw)

looked it up;
I like the dwarves (for mordheim), the spider feels a bit cartoony but that likely matches well with some peoples brighter painting styles

I have often wanted to ask some hardcore Necromunda peoples this question, this seems like a good chance.

What are your opinions on a gang made from lego? Fixed onto the correct size bases of course. Any opinions on scale? they seem about the same to me, though I am not a stickler and have not compared properly.

I don't think it's a question of base. It's more about the look of it when mixed with a different range of miniature.

I play DBA, an historical wargame. I will not mixed the Playmobil Egyptian with an historical miniature from a company that specialize in historical miniature. Even if I believe that the Egyptian from Playmobil are great. I could play them against the Roman Playmobil that I also believe to be great.

It's just that visually the contrast will be too great. That's also mean if both side of your games play Lego it won't contrast too much save maybe for the decors.

Too true, it would look fucked against a proper set hahaha. But lego set against set lego shouldnt cause too many problems right? I am guessing. A mate of mine is playing with the idea of "freecromunda" as he calls it. A game is a game to me i am thinking, will be interesting to see what it plays out like.

In the end it's always your game. I don't care about wysiwyg but I do care about painting. I will play with anyone who took time to paint even badly much more reluctantly against someone who didn't.

So if you are both happy with Lego sure why not.

I mean, the first question is why not play a game designed for lego warfare, if using lego minis? https://brikwars.com/

Anyway, regarding legos in necromunda, it really depends on your players. You could just all use the legos and then it wouldn't be an issue at all.

Also, I think motives matter. Like are you doing it because you don't want to bother painting your gang and/or because you don't want to pay retail buying GW gangs?

I do find it offensive when my opponent keeps talking about how cheap their models are, and how stupid it is putting time into the hobby.... I'm sure they don't intend to offend, but they are indirectly insulting my purchases and insulting my time spent painting and/or converting. And we could still have fun, but just saying that it's offensive to me and I'd really prefer they were more respectful.

Don't get me wrong, you can be bad at painting, or just never get around to painting, or proxy things you don't yet have models for, and that doesn't bug me - it's less about your guys, and more about your attitude towards the hobby end of a hobby game, since I'm rather devoted/obsessed with the hobby end of this game.

LEGOmunda has been done, I’ve seen photos of it out there!

But you really have to go all in and LEGO all the gangs and scenery, otherwise it looks like you’ve just raided the kids toy box.

Also there’s plenty of not-LEGO out there now including all sorts of military range weapons and gear that would never pass in an official product.
