Sup folks! Soon there will be ten years since GW relaunched Necromunda. It feels like the perfect time to share some work that I made for the system. Bear in mind that I absolutely hate painting, so I only do conversions, kitbashing and some sculpting - both traditional and digital.

With the 3rd edition release, my friends started a series of campaigns that they are playing to this day. Because they use strict WYSIWYG rules for miniatures, I was asked to use my skills to meet those requirements. Over the years, this has resulted in a few pictures that I'll dump here. Most of them are for Esher gang, whose main theme was to somehow attach a wing to every
freaking model (if possible) :D

Escher look great with the feathers and the greenstuff work is quality. Looking forward to more.

It's not the pictures themselves, it's the 'content not viewable in your region' issue. (I know this has affected others too.)

You may not have unlocked this functionality yet, but it is possible to upload and host your photos here.
From what I read, the requirement is 10 posts, but I won’t randomly spam ;)

I need to post a few older pics. Back in the days of the 1st and 2nd edition, I was playing with Van Saars. As the 2005 specialist game catalogue shows, those didn't have a large variety of poses (thanks to The Stuff of Legends archive! http://www.solegends.com):

While I was writing this post I learned that there were also multipart gangers. I only had some extra weapon sprues from that set. Having plenty of duplicates, I converted some of them to have more options and to meet WYSIWYG:

Some of them are completely black due to overexposure to bleach, the standard measure to strip paint in ancient times, that resulted in a chemical reaction with alloy :D

I also made some conversions for Spyrers for my friend:

In an unfortunate twist of events, those were lost... but that resulted in making a new one around the same time as Eshers from previous post:

I had some experience prior to Necromundas 3rd edition with handling 3d printed models, but overall SLA printing wasn’t yet popular or affordable beyond prototyping and making miniature masters. So it was mainly making RTV silicone moulds and polyurethane resin casting.
At the same time as the 3rd edition release I started exploring digital projecting/sculpting on my own... and from what I recall, it was a painful process. The only user-friendly environment I could use without spending hours learning the interface was Tinkercad. Chain axe and wings for the Esher gang was made in it:

I outsourced printing on a Form2, I wasn't skilled enough to make feathers and small details digitally so I scuplted it with green stuff:

2D ruleset of Zone Mortalis introducted boards. I was asked by a friend to make walls for it, and a happy coincidence that at the time I was already working on some lasercut projects, so I had enough workflow momentum to take on the task. It used 3mm and 1,5mm thick HDF. To enrich the overall look, I included resin casted inserts made using the same approach described above. Some pics of the final result:

Inserts, big fans were two part:

I was in awe when I saw the bases for the 3rd edition Necromunda, but after a while I realized that it lacked variety, especially in bigger diameters. Since I was already working with walls for boards, I created a few new patterns based on the same design. Initial set consised of 28, 32, 40 and 50 mm bases.

Masters printed on Form2, to be honest, the quality achieved by it can still compete with newer printers:

I added more base sizes and uploaded STLs to thingiverse. It's free to grab: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6474924

These are awesome minis man.

I know you said you don't like painting but what if you primed these white and put a black wash over them to bring out the details? You could probably do everything you posted in a hour or two.

Most of those were painted ages ago. There is a plan to make a solid photoshoot session, but I don't have a clue when it will come to fruition.
