Social Interaction/RPG rules for Necromunda?

Hey all, new here. My understanding is that this is the place to go for Inquisimunda, which I respect a lot.

Since that is a more RPG slanted Necromunda, i thought some other folks here might know of some good, perhaps light RP rules that one might use for social interaction etc. outside of the actual fighting of Necromunda and so on.

(Reason being, I'm trying to start a 40k RPG campaign set on Necromunda, but using 8th edition rules. Doing this largely so I can include Sisters of Battle in on things, in a sweeping narrative, RP campaign setting)

The rulesets for fighting that I have available to me are able to be bent at my will with some effort, but I completely lack any sort rules to apply to social interactions *around* those instances of fighting.

Does anyone here have any wisdom for how to approach this? I might just go grab rules from an RPG, but I might want to start with something much lighter or unique.

Do you guys use any social interaction rules etc. for Inquisimunda or what not, between combats?

I DM quite a bit of DnD and I think you might be better served using the necromunda stat blocks to show for will power, intelligence, cool and initiative the only thing you would need is a charisma stat to give you a means for determining how well conversions go - persuasion attempts etc.

I intend to do something similar in the near future.

That could work - so you would just have to beat your Ld score with modifiers for stuff on 2D6 huh? I like it! I wonder if anyone's ever tried that sort of thing before.

And btw the thing that would matter here is the statlines for the Sisters, most of all, because they'd be the protagonists - and they don't have Necromunda profiles to refer to lol. Maybe Kill Team soon though. Any and all ideas in regards to this, or even adjacent RPG topics, are more than welcome to me :)

Sisters will indeed get KT rules in the upcoming Kill Team annual 2019 (official announcement)
I don't think they'll get full-fledged official Necromunda rules as they are a bit too powerful for the setting. Maybe as a one-off dramatis personae or NPC (after all, the Book or Ruin has rules for a Purestrain Genestealer and what is all but stated to be a fallen Blood Angel).

You should be able to spec up sisters of battle easily enough for Necromunda - they’re base line humans, so M5, S and T 3, W1, A1, I4+, 3+ BS (reflects their serious training), 4+ WS, power armour is available in Necromunda, plus an enforcer bolter to represent their top line kit. Their psychology stats are a bit more problematic...

I saw! I figured that was coming. I really do need to look into how those work, because I do feel they could be something useful for what I'm doing. Like as they travel through the hive, I expect them to have access to a vehicle here and there. But obviously, there will be tons of places they can't go in Hive Primus with vehicles, and it would also lend itself to smaller battles. Enter Kill Team...

Jacob...your link may have been a golden piece of inspiration for me. It set me off on a ton of google searching with took up a big chunk of my day o.o
In other words, THANK you! Using leadership for everything, as it's been said above even in this thread and elsewhere, has never quite sat well with me. But perhaps, with this being my inspiration, I could just add one additional stat... Probably Willpower, to cover all other bases. MAYBE Intelligence instead? But I don't feel like I'd need both. Again, still thinking of largely leaning towards 8th edition rules right now, because the idea is to segway into the awesome 40k community as a whole, and be able to plug into that, too. For reasons.
So again, THANK you for the link - I too found it inspirational! And idk why this sort of thing is so hard to find online. It's a simple idea. Now I'd just need to think of how one might go into these RP modes, and switch between that and combat here and there when moving around the city...
