I quite like the bit that the Ork's belief that Yarrick is out there and they could still go and 'ave a bloody good krumpin' wiv 'im might be what's keeping him alive. It works with their tech, why not a foe? Evey time he fights them the collective Ork belief that he's awesome and powerful and the stories of his rampant badassery in Ork legend make him more powerful as time passes...

Bit of an update here, including what I'd assume is the bit of the Guard codex that got everyone so worked up. Honestly at this point I'd assume he isn't dead at all, else why draw so much attention to that possibility?

Maybe he fell through a warp rift and will pop up next in AoS as a Stormcast Eternal. ;-)

It's a marketing trap...I'm not going to convert up a knight commissar model with homage weapon arms and a jaunty cap. It would be foolish...I'm not going to do it.
