Necromunda Spyrers :)

For thin, posable cables, I can't recommend the Masq Mini tube tool enough. I've heard you can also use a comb!

Mine appears to be unavailable, but this one comes recommended and is cheap:

Anything cable-like or tentacle-y I do with my tube tool. It's just so easy to use. I tend to do oversized cables but however thin you make your GS sausage is how thin the cable will be.

Here's a "Cable Overkill" before and after for ya... sooooo fun!

It's suuuuch a fun site. When I get a new job I'm gonna celebrate with a similar order. Decent priced plastruct rod multipacks, too.

I have a load of Genestealer Cult knives or various Dark Elf knives that might suit. Happy to post some, or bitz swap or something. Shout if you want me to rummage and take some pics (OF THE PLASTIC BITS, SMUT LORDS!).

Thanks everyone for your support :) I am evaluating various options... still have some dark eldar spikes and blades myself ;) ... I am waiting for the model from TheTrollTrader, until I have it in my hand I can't effectively make any try...

About bitz, slightly off topic: there is a trading running here? I am the hunt for some stuff... mostly Skitarii.

Dead end on the Malcadon, the Dreadball model is a midget compared to the two others... he appear small for the 28mm scale... comparison picture soon, then you can check it yourself :( uff...

Given the comic appearance of the Orrus, I don't know if midget would be bad. Malcadons were always depicted as being whip thin, so small isn't much of a stretch. It'll be interesting to see if I change my tune with a pic.

It wouldn't be too small if you make it a balpack backpack with four spidey legs (as per Invader Zim comment earlier), and have the two lower legs raising the model higher... :-D

...it would add to the comicy oversizedness of the orrus and make the whole team look more Super :p

I'd like to see it up on a base. I think it would still be small, but their bases are definitely taller.

I know that stretching the legs and add a base with small scenery will compensate a lot, but it is not definitely the overall style I am looking for. After all, I wasted 5€ on that model but it was worth to check it in my hands, and to have an idea of how much that Mantic range was usable for conversions (near "not at all"). I fastly switched my aim for another base model... some candidates:

Tomorrow I receive my last supply of bitz for the Yeld, and I start build it. It will look a lot like Archangel from X-Men *grin*

I like the first one better, unless you do a head swap on the second one, as it's the head that really bothers me.
