N18 StarterList Critique for Dominion Campaign

Hello,

Soon I'll be starting 1 (or 2) Dominion campaigns with all new players.
We usually play "casual with teeth", meaning making the best out of fun/narrative concepts.
I've played some skirmishes back in 2020, and thinking about taking these gangs for a spin.

Escher Erinyes (yes, that's a hades reference)

A fairly mixed loadout of 9 gals with varied ranged support and some melee options.

Van Saar

Eigth (because spiders) gangers, with fun options sprinkled in.

I am looking for advise regarding power level of these gangs, possible improvemetns and where to upgrade during the campaign.
What are options to look out for at the trading post? Which additional skills may be worth? etc.

Escher gang is solid, I've run similar lists and they work well, not a lot to recommend, personally not a fan of mentor against iron will, or whichever one helps with bottle checks.

Van Saar is a good take on trying to avoid the plasma spam that tends to come up in these gangs, it's a bit spammy for my taste but I think that's a feature of Van Saar that's hard to avoid, is there maybe something you can do with the Neotek?
 
The neotek is there because I like the hoberboard. The plan for them is to eventually get a handflamer and a shield, skimming across the board for area denial.
IF possible I'll save up credits for an arachnirig later.

I just start my Neoteks with a Lasgun. They begin as extra mobile pinners and objective snatchers. Later on, they get Hand Flamers and/or other AoE weapons and become a real threat.
