Stoof's Project Thread

I found during BoltMeet that my Italians not having an AT rifle was a mild annoyance, to that end El Stoofle instructed a couple of likely Beraglieri lads to "find" a German Panzerbuchse 39 AT rifle. Here they are now, what a stroke of luck! Must have been carelessly discarded somewhere…

Nice job! If it weren’t for those paving stones in the first pic, I would’ve thought it was an old timey photo used for inspiration.
Obviously megalithic stones. Where are the British flying their operatives amidst the North African theater and why?

"Say, US Army, how many machine guns do you want on your transport half-track?"
"Yes."

That transfer on the radiator slats was a nightmare.

The three 30-cals around the sides and rear are cleverly designed to clip on and off so I can opt to take them or not.

I also finished the DAK/Stolen SAS Kubelwagon.

These Italian paratroopers just found a whole stack of DAK supplies, just lying around in the desert. Naturally they rescued them. Il Stoofle Vite!

Crates supplied by the ever generous @ClockworkOrange, quick paint job on them yesterday for a nice bit of scatter.

I think you’ll find that that is a Canadian Military Pattern truck built by those damn ex colonials Ford or Chevy. Who it seems had factories in Canada back then to avoid paying British Empire import tax….things never really change.

"Leutnant, was haben diese beiden Italiener vor?"

"Ihr Verräter! Bleib hier!"
Been trying to commission a custom stencil but the potential creator is on assignment until September. I'm hoping for different sized fonts for the "Il Stoofle Vite" phrase plus a couple of sizes of the image but it remains to see what's possible. Will let the group know if/when a stencil becomes available.
