Necromunda Stoof's Project Thread

While casting my credits, I was reminded of the 25mm Prince August Napoleonic War moulds I bought with big intentions during THE EVENT. I decided to make a little diorama of a field artillery team, because as we all know, if I call it a "diorama" then it doesn't count as the basis for a 25mm Napoleonic army.

The 25mm cast miniatures are not particularly well defined detail wise, but I enjoyed assembling and painting this lot nonetheless.

I scratch made the bucket of water and the pile of cannonballs (does rolling 1.5mm diameter balls of milliput count as "scratch made"?), and the two crates are 3D prints from @ClockworkOrange - they're German ammo cases but shhhhh.

So now I have a desk 6-pounder to see off ne'er-do-wells and The French at work. And definitely not the start of a Napoleonic army.

Definitely.

Now, about that "diorama" of a line of redcoats...

I feel like a jaunty cap or hardhat might be the perfect thing here. Either way, it's looking great!

I'm going to try and sculpt one of these round the base of the sawn off head horn.

This:
My current toys of choice are large, brightly coloured and often have a variety of wondrous textures to feel and squeeze. Here's the reason for that doing his impression of a Genestealer chewing on a Guardsman:

(I did the straight black line and the anchor, propellers etc)

He's going to be putting me to shame by the time he's 10. I'll have to get him into computer games and booze or something.

Yes, one of Airfixes "Vintage Classics" where they broke out the old tooling from the 1970s.

Can confirm it was a pain in the arse to build.
