Stoof's Project Thread

Seems fine! If I was to have a gap it would be at the shoulder as it’s so much easier to putty in some cloth and mask it with a milliput copy of the other shoulder pad than have a guy with an extended wrist!!

It looks good.

I can't tell how much green stuffing I had to do on mine, I obviously sculpted a hood so I might have filled gaps as well.

It looks like the left hand would be in a similar position to the original GW sculpt though. I must have made more changes to the right hand to make it look like he is holding the Flamer so I don't know or remember how well it would have assembled before converting.

I'm going to guess it was optional as on the CCM link I posted earlier you can see the two holstered pistols and clearly one is for the left and the other the right of his hips. So it was probably both pistols or one and the book. At a guess anyway.

Yeah looks like it was optional. Looking at the pictures in the rulebook and battle reports GW assembled theirs with just the book and one pistol. Even the artwork doesn't show it. It is listed on his character sheet though...

Maybe the book is a holster...

You laugh, @trollmeat , but I was listening to a podcast that was talking about the game, and they said it took forever to play what counts as minimal “actual” time. It was one of the reasons the game never took off (according to them).

I have played a total of once with two more experienced players, I think we played for 2 hours and in that time we entered a warehouse, shut down some servitors, shot someone in the bollocks with a flamethrower, and retrieved a relic.

Probably 10 or so minutes real time going by distance covered sneaking. So not exactly fast paced but I wouldn't say it was boring for being a bit slow.
