TAG WAR UK 2024!

So does this mean there won’t be a campaign pack for those of us who can’t make it to purchase?

Just to further Mancinventor there, it would be difficult to do anything if anyone can bring any game system!

Perhaps there’s a compromise option - a YakMeet miniature which isn’t a miniature for example?

(I’m assuming there isn’t currently a plan for a mini this year)

Perhaps it could be a set of 6 Loot counters with the Yak face on? 3D print a set, get it cast in resin - could be used in a variety of games?!?

Two approaches: a like poker chip style counter with the Yak face and the word “Loot” on, or maybe an actual 28mm wooden packing crate with the Yak face on?

Might be easy enough to do - relatively inexpensive for the team to organise and if totally 3D printed then just print enough for people who attend and then any extra for paying people like yourself??

Ooh, just thought! I should also have the Warcrow Adventures kickstarter set hot off the press in June (although that is already delayed from February). I will definitely be bringing that along too if it comes.

Most likely (if I can get) I’ll be playing Necromunda - in fact I may well be giving the new edition a spin (😱).

I’m interested in Bolt Action though, I’m sure I downloaded a PDF of the rules years ago - but never actually played it. So if any Yak would like to teach me the rules that’d be cool!!

In terms of collecting - I’d be much more interested in the Pacific Theatre, so I don’t think that meshes well with what you all have collected already. As I don’t have any anyway though - not much of an issue yet!!

I just fancied an Imperial Japanese Army though. I see there’s a decent starter set with them and US troops.

Ah, you clearly don’t know about that historically accurate* part of the European campaign where the IJA came to Europe and fought the British, then the Americans and, although terrifically underdressed for the theatre, enjoyed it so much they fought the Italians, the Finnish and the Germans as well. They may even have gone on to fight the desert rats and Afrika Korps as well. I think it was called Operation Fuji-poo or something.

*Historically accurate however, some battles and reconstructed events may not have happened and have been included for entertainment purposes only.

So, I'm hoping someone will be bringing at least one sea mat.

I spent too much time downloading STLs and rulebooks yesterday. Damn you Troll!

That said, my brother has been pestering me to play it for a while, so hopefully won't just be a one weekend a year thing.

At least the fleets are small. That one print bed is a complete 1000 point Dwarf fleet. Reckon I can get at least 2 or 3 fleets done in time for Tribemeet.
