Greetings Yaks and welcome to my EBay store!

Even though he doesn’t know it yet, I want to thank @MancInventor for a massive dose of inspiration!
I havnt sold anything yet, but I set the shop up last Saturday night (6/7/25) and am mid way through my first auctions!
I’ll be posting pics here of future listings, purely for the entertainment of my tribesmen. But if there’s anything you’d like to see me have a crack at, I’m willing to give any miniature a go! (Just make sure I can get them at my local hobby shop 😋 )
My goal is to subsidise my addiction to buying boxes of plastic that I will never end up using! If I can have fun doing it, and someone can have fun playing with them, then it’s a win for everyone!

Wish me luck!

That is my unconscious master plan foiled already!
“Are you buying more?”
“No dear, these are to sell on eBay”
😵‍💫😅

I’ll not say which I prefer, but I suppose what I’m looking for is clarity if that helps?

Thanks for the input fellow tribesmen! ❤️
I was thinking maybe the warmer light might complement my more ‘impressionist’ style of painting, but I think for Ebay, maybe sharper light is the answer, like a ’warts and all’ approach?

I think the warmer light (A) is flattering in a way. But B is clearer. If I were buying them, I'd want to see clearly what I was buying.

(I'm trying not to say that your painting looks better in the dark, or anything like that...)

Has anyone got any experience with eBay?
Iv sold an order, payment was confirmed, I sent the item tracked, it got delivered, I got the virtual money in the eBay account, but ( this is the bit that’s doing my head in) it won’t show up as being complete so I can’t access the money?

Iv scoured their help section and talked to the most useless AI help bot Iv ever met, but I all I want to know is what the criteria for complete orders is!?

It recently changed, my wife sells a bit on ebay and it can be days before the money is actually available - positive feedback from the buyer can speed it up, but a great many simply don't do feedback these days. If there's no feedback it can be up to a week after delivery before they money is yours. I think there's also something about ebay paying out only once or twice a month too, but that might be Vinted which she also uses. She complains about both!

Basically all set up so eBay can earn a few more days interest on millions upon millions of orders - it adds up.

Thanks so much stoof!!
iv been wracking my brain trying to work out what I had or hadn’t done right or wrong! But that is such a weight off my mind! 😮‍💨❤️

Yeah, I'll second Stoof's comment. eBay builds in a delay to give both parties time to leave feedback (or contest the sale, or other actions). It may seem counter-intuitive, but if you're satisfied with the transaction (i.e., all elements of the transaction except that you haven't fully gotten the money yet ...), then you leaving positive feedback about the buyer may move things along.
