Is there an informal German equivalent of "annoyed ground crew", language wise?

"Ere's us labourin' under these blummin canvas tents - and them bleedin' guards 'as themselves nice, cushy bunkers!"

Grumble paint is taking to long to dry will have to wait until tomorrow grumble.

Couple of very wet dry brushes up to white and then a wash with watered down black poster paint. Think I’ll do a very gentle white highlight and then weather them tomorrow.

A new project begins!

As you may know I bought a UK Airborne force from Partizan, but I also saw many great tables that I took inspiration from, and they’ll need something to fight over!

Several were using various versions of fleece, so after discussing with my fellow conspirator in these things @Tiny ive decided to risk one from AliExpress. The photo is one of the review photos but it looks ideal, that said who knows what will turn up!

I’m planning a river, bridge, a village and roads. But I’m sure more things will appear as we go along 🤣

I didn’t know the UK Airborne had a zombie bear. These mascots are crazy. 🤪

I noticed the fluffy mats in your photos. I know Teddy Bear fur was a popular thing a while back as it was useful for all manner of robust long grass or thatching on roofs.

Only a true wargamer has a grass battlement as a throw on their bed though!! 🤣

Also they can be laid over polystyrene hills for gently sloping terrain. Something I’ve always wanted to do but doesn’t work with neoprene.

If it works out for the troll I’ll probably get one myself.
Yeah I’m thinking river banks too.

Yes, I remember Little War’s TV doing a video on how they use (felt I thought but could be fleece) a cloth draped over foam hill shapes to create quick landscapes.

They also use those jigsaw edged foam mats as a base layer on the tabletop too so they can use trees etc with pins on the bottom that can just be stabbed through the cloth and into place.

Looks pretty good actually.

That'd be cool, you could use some strategically placed trees or telegraph poles etc to hold the cloth in place
