I've seen people convert Corvus Cabal into Cawdor before and thought "That's so cool!" So I started doing that and changed my mind and made a Corvus gang with a single member from every other gang - The Forgotten Cast (Cawdor, Goliath, Van Saar, Orlock, Delaque, Escher)

What gang rules will you be using? Venators?

I hope you don't mind unsolicited C&C of your photography, but I think the pictures would be better if you had the camera lower - more in line with the models, rather than overhead. No criticism of the models though.

It's funny because I have a degree in photography but I also don't really do any setup for in-progress pics; my work desk just isn't in a space where getting low/model height is feasible. When I paint them, however, I'll be sure to set them up properly, like so:

That's the plan - I'm not entirely sure how it will pan out as I had the idea for the gang, made it, then thought "How would i play this?"

Venators gives A LOT of options and would work well. I haven't looked closely at the Outcasts, but I would think the Venators ability to actually make them a part of house you made them to be would give it nice fluffy aspect.

I would use a space modulator in combination with water reconstituted space alien army. Or lay the thing over a bit....

If you can't get the camera low, you could alternatively try lifting the model up - but it seems you know far more than I do about photography.

lol, for the Escher I thought “damn, wish I could see the model a bit more front on”. I’ve just been throwing a white box on the floor and using the walls as the background for most of my pics lately

Venators would definitely be the way to go, they give a variety of stat options and let you give them skills as well as weapons from the houses, but it’d be hard to fit all 6 into a 1000 point starting gang. You could focus on the Leader and two Champions, giving them House Legacies, and then just give the 3 Hunters weapons that fit the models, then work your way to getting more champions from the houses and fill the gaps with generic scum.

I also don't want to put much effort into it until I'm ready; just excited and wanted to share a cool, I think, idea

@trollmeat different hairdo? What’s with…? Oohhhh. Yeah, no man buns! Unless you’re Toshiro Mirofune…. Maybe, as a Goliath, he’s not used to actually having hair? Maybe it’s a stray hairsquig?

Swapping the Van Saar (with Mohawk) with the Goliath (man-bun) could reinforce the House origins. But that’s getting pretty nit-picky. If they’re working together as Venators because they’re rejecting their old House biases in order to work with worthy companions, then the chosen hairstyles make sense.

Cool concepts like this need one thing: Needs more backstory!

The Van Saar has a the "head-cord," for lack of a better term, attached. I'm definitely not done with them yet though - I'd like to add a few bits to each to better tie them to their gangs.

Trying to fill out the ranks at the moment; I have some other bird-ish helmets I may use on some regular hivers as well.
