We will be meeting every other week starting Wednesday 3rd October from 17:00-ish at the Glendenning Arms in Witton Gilbert, Co Durham.

All are welcome to sign up to the league or just come and cheer on the teams.

The Grimdark Cup is a blood bowl season which has a league round and then a playoffs to determine the winner.

All teams will start with 5 fan factor which does not need to be purchased.

The league round:
Will consist of 6 meets, where we will try to play at least one game at every meet and should try to play as many different opponents as possible during the 6 meets. You will score 3 points for winning, 1 for a draw and 0 for losing.

At the end of the league team will be ranked first by points, then touchdowns (higher is better), then casualtys (higher is better) and finally ejections (lower is better). If all these factors are tied and both team agree they can play a round of overtime to determine position, otherwise a coin will be flipped.

After the league the playoffs begin, which is a knockout tournament, how many rounds will depend on the number teams in the league. Matches which are a draw after turn 16 will immediately play a round of overtime to determine a winner.

Semi finals:
3D6 fans turn out, +20,000 income to losers, +40,000 income to winners

3rd place match:
Only 1D6 fans

Final
4D6 fans turn out, +50,000 income to loser, +100,000 income to winner

Glittering prizes:
Up to 1 hour of smugness and gloating
If the same team is chosen to be redrafted next season it gets +1 to fame roll and a free reroll during league games.

Overtime in playoffs:
Overtime consists of an extra 4 turns, kick off coin is flipped, winner chooses to either kick or receive, if the receiver scores they win, if they don't score the kicker wins. Rerolls are not reset like half time.

Overtime for league position.
As above but have standard rerolls, injuries stand, do not make an MVP roll and income is halved.

Participating teams will not have friendly matches during the league or playoff.

Brought together by the Vampire Narcisa von Hutzendorf to prove that vampires can make it in the world of blood bowl even with their many distractions.

Cheers pressure! Tho you can keep the yellow -the colour of sneaky, dodgy, cowardly grots!

I plan to mark their armour with marks for touchdowns (cross), casualties (tally), completion (arrow) and MVP (chevrons). I might mark the bases with block (square) and dodge (circle). And I’m toying with the idea of giving blork Medmommas Sox a bloody fist in recognition of his kill, but I’m not sure as I’m not sure I’ll be using this team again next season (I might do the unthinkable and play halflings!)

And one last thing, the box at the top should read 7 casualties for the Orchids! I can’t be letting you weedy raider boyz thinking you iz da toughest!
