This wasn't part of any planned posting... but this morning I assembled Captain Sicarius from the Conquest sunscription and set about making him more Wolfy.

This may now be my most favourite model for the Wolves ever.... conversion work:

The tabard drape: replaced the cloth one with a (REALLY CAREFULLY) removed one from spacewolves box chest

Replaced rosarius on chest with tiny skull from a space marine bike ariel and wolf tail

Added wolf tails to the gun

Extended the neck to make this head fit (that was interesting....)

Powersword swap

Back banner clipped from iron halo to wolf totem

Shoulder pads selected to better hide the neck extension and to look cool.

Most of the Primaris are now assembled.

Remaining to build:
6 Intercessors
10 Rievers
5 Infiltrators
5 Incursors
Ragnar Blackmane

Awaiting delivery of a Repulsor Tank, some more Intercessors, Hellblasters and Incursors as well as the Ancient (from some missing Conquest issues)

Starting to assemble the plaguemarines...

Besides 6 built Pmarines I've just built the Tallyman and 2 (very fun) chaos spawn.

One is all claws and eating a Spacewolf, the other is as many eyes and heads as I could add (9 heads....) - good luck sneaking up on that one....

In a flash of realisation... I had magnetised the crane and boom for storage and transport on the oilrig tile.

So... printed another small stack, magnetized that and now the crane is functional for sector mortalis as well....

Next I'll add a decent base for stability and weight and some plastic pipes and there we go.

The question is... can I cheat on the FYSC FALL 2020 comp by finishing one terrain piece with the crane on this month and then put the crane on the second piece next month... as technically its still a separate piece?

Or should I just do both and then tell @ClockworkOrange I completed TWO cranes

Enjoyed doing this. Now to add some platforms and stuff.

Decided that I'm going to roll with some heavy duty basing... 12mm MDF.

Ignore the missed cut at the bottom of the image. Got a bit excited with the jigsaw and it's 45° bevel that I've only just realised it can deliver....

Could you add some sort of ladder to that black frame supporting the crane? My OCD is going nuts! The driver needs to get up to the cab somehow.

I'm not finished making it yet LOL.

The father in law turned 69 yesterday so there was a bit of a session where we discovered that half a bottle of Apple Jack Daniels, half a bottle of Gentleman Jack and half a bottle of Southern Comfort leads to many laughs, especially when the old bugger went to take the dogs for a walk and ended up in the bushes....

Me? I was feeling the booze, but I was not in the bushes skunked hahaha.

Naturally this means I was not building or painting things yesterday.

Added a staircase, razorblade handles and florist wire.

Suffering a slight funk at the moment despite getting my hands on an Indomitus box (irony alert... @ryanBSM is having the Necrons and my pal Andy the Marines which means I'm painting them... so Im getting the rulebook and no Minis haha...) so have resorted to just adding a bit to this piece.

Awesome work, are the steps handmade? They look like a kit! My only criticism, no that’s not the right word, improvement, that’s better - To my eye I think you need to do a little more work on the razor blade handles, to stop them looking like what they are. Watching with interest.

Yeah, the steps are just card and superglue. And a skewer for a handrail.

The razor blade handles won't look so razor razor handley once they are painted, just looking blue makes them look that way

I decided that my magnetized crane needed a non sump tile mount as well so technically with my Conquest crane I've now got 3 cranes....
