“…so we’ll up our prices too as it’s clearly the current fashionable trend. It’s an unfortunate truth that the world keeps getting more expensive. Prices for food, materials, and transportation have been trending upward for a few years now, and Warhammer isn’t immune to that trend.
We’ll ignore the fact that we could lower them at any time, as other brands clearly can operate at lower costs and still make profit and we made more money than ever this last financial year using the exact same materials they use but with the added benefit of it being mostly in house, unlike them, who have to get others to manufacture the products for them.
Plus we’ve outsourced some of our non-in house manufacturing to China to take advantage of their cheap labour rather than using local business which would help our economy and work forces but hey? That’s what big business does right!?!
Anyway, you’ve got a month to buy our overpriced model kits until we jack up the prices again.
Except paints of course, amazing how rising costs for materials, transport and manufacturing doesn’t affect paint and the plastic pots they’re in eh?
Of course we can’t raise prices on those as there’s shit loads of direct competition and we’re already more expensive per millilitre than they are and we know there’s no reason to buy ours if we price gouge them. Or tools.”
