Necromunda The Sump: General hobby venting thread (Beware: old men shouting at clouds)

Do you have a Hobbycraft fairly nearby? It seems wherever there's a Hobbycraft, the art supplies of nearby shops dry up. I noticed that in Aberdeen when The Works suddenly stopped selling most art supplies. I don't know if the companies are connected in any way, but The Works went to books and cards with only kids art sets once Hobbycraft opened there.

I did browse the art and craft bit of The Works today and don't recall seeing any browns. I noticed a gold paint I didn't recall seeing before, along with the usual fairly bright primary colours (that probably aren't useful to us all that often).

Yep, both of The Works I have looked in didn’t have any browns, just a few primary colours and white/black. I think I saw gold and silver there too.

Surely a brown is more useful than a glittery gold?

Sorry wrong answer. IA Think about improving not fact. I have to constantlly telle the ia i need pulished document not reconstruction. i ha ve a ood memory i don't need long to realize if something is factual or not. It's more than anoying.

I was thinking about the censorship that has taken over various social media. Like, you can't say or even spell the word "kill" etc., which is mysterious to me. But I think I know of whom you speak...

the last weeks I notice;
-more polarizing content (both irl and it getting pushed more)
-more content about American news (this may be affected by my own searches)
-more Ai created 'alternative historical stuff'

Following Russias war in Ukraine it's noticable certain (mentions about) subjects have been blocked for years
(violence, scenes depicting explosions or gunfire, mentions of extremist right wing terms, nudity, ...)

That didn't stop X's grok ai from allowing it to be used to make sadistic porn out of pretty much any picture...

I really like Bethany's one. Makes me want to buy one of the tower hab things - it would look great on a Tribemeet table. This interest will last until I see what one of those actually costs.

(Edit: £69.50... bad, but not as bad as I was thinking tbh)
