N18 Threat Response and Exotic Beasts?

Hey, all.

Just wondering how the Palanite Drill skill Threat Response works with Exotic Beasts? It seems Threat Response activates the model when an enemy fighter ends a Charge within 6" - and when a fighter with an exotic beasts is activated, they must activate all exotic beasts belonging to them.

This seems incredibly powerful, for example: a Malstrain Badzone Enforcers Sergeant with Malstrain Tyramites!

Am I reading and interpreting this correctly?

Thank you.

yes, that's how it would work...

you could equally activate (group activation if champion/leader) other ready fighters
and I think trying to 'boost' your knockback chances can equally create quite er... useful situations

the weakness of threat response is you need to keep your model ready, standing and active and that offers your opponent countering options.

Thank you, @Hobo86. That makes a lot of sense; even group activating other ready fighters...

And, as you say, that it is easy to counter, while you wait for a Charge!
