Love your trash-bashes, @Tiktaalik! Maybe rename your thread to something more personal? Like maybe, I don't know, Tiktaalik the Trash Titans Tremendous Tales! Just to avoid thread hi-jackers, unintentional as they might be.
@Altoft316: Thanks for the tip. There are tons of stickied threads with ideas for terrain and/minis.
Well, it’s been a difficult night but I think I got these video tapes to work for me. I won’t be picking Any more up because it’s just too much of a hassle prepping them to use as bits.
This was some sort of hot wheels parking garage thing. I’m making all of my terrain multi-tiered now. I’m sick of guys hiding behind crates and shooting each other with grenade launchers. My vision of the underhive is something like if John Blanche designed the Kowloon Walled City.
Nothing like some upcycled junk for terrain! It’s where most of mine comes from. That’s a good use for old VHS tapes. I tossed a huge box of them because I couldn’t figure out a good way to reuse them.
That’s a great idea. its a coincidence because I found a piece of a toy boat today that would make a great addition to my terrain project. There is a lot of cool stuff to try out when making Underhive terrain; You can use almost everything. I am however, considering buying a GW terrain kit of some kind to “imperialize” my structures. I don’t want them to be too “Orky.”
Did some work on the Kowloon Underhive construction. I like the way it is turning out.

this week I’ll get some rigid foam and foam core sheeting to flesh out the parts that I have “framed.” I want there to be stalls and shops at each Level so that the players get the impression that people live and do business there.
I’m taking a break from Necromunda terrain to devote more time to gaming. i decided to continue a project which I started during the beginning of 2021
this will be an army display board as well as a terrain piece. There will be a sort of skirt that surrounds the base making it suitable for games.
I’ve been posting in the games and rules discussion portion of the forum here and I’ve been trying to decide which gang to use during our next campaign. I’m torn between corpse grinder cultists and outlaw.
I’ve done some work on my outlaw gang this one is a bit more cohesive than the chaos cult. I will be doing much more with age of Sigmar minis in the future they are really good.
The last guy will most likely be the master charlatan. The background for this gang is yeah some family that has been hoarding technology and doing for bidden experiments, selling alien technology and fraternizing with criminals. They have the cash to afford dangerous equipment and hire skilled individuals to do their bidding. Their appearance represents some sort of alien armor pattern that has an organic basis.
This guy might be the boss of the gang… I’m really happy with how he came out but these pictures just don’t do him justice. He is a floating, crippled criminal mastermind attached to some contraption that keeps him alive and allows him to kill/operate machinery and tech/dissect people.
Thanks for the compliment, friend. The community here is awesome and I am glad that I found it.
with the competition theme being some sort of animal companion, I have really no clue what to do.
I am considering buying something non-GW, but I would also love to make another freak to go with my bone reaper squad.
