Bit of a rules question rather than a modelling one.
One of my current gangs is a slave Ogryn gang. I have yet to find a real world cost effective way of making biker Ogryns so custom vehicles is the route I am taking.

My question is concerning the Body Upgrade Transport Cage. As per Book of the Outlands it states "Note that fighters subject to the mounted condition and Brutes cannot enter a transport cage".
Now my Sump beast and Awakened Ogryn (I will make the giant brain beast work...), are Brutes so can't go in but my Lobos, Bosses and solitary ordinary Ogryn are neither Mounted or Brutes. Therefore they can use the transport cage right?
I know they can use the Transport Bed just fine, which I am using in my barely converted Ork battlewagon, my question is concerning the Transport Cage.

I'd say the capacity of a Transport Cage (Small: 3 Fighters/Large: 6 Fighters) and the restriction on Mounts and Brutes suggest it's intended to be a bit of a squeeze and that Ogryn-sized entities might struggle, but as you say Slave Ogryn Gang members are Fighters. Yet another loophole/oversight/RAI issue then, perhaps consider reducing the capacity to Small: 1 or 2/ Large: 3 or 4 when stuffing Ogryn into man-sized lockers eh. Especially considering all the chunky bionics, welders, power packs etc on top of the majestic Ogryn stature.

The 3/6 size issue sure. The lovable hug monsters have gravitas. 3-4 sounds right (why would you go smaller? Be Large Loud and Proud of your giants!)

On mounts while vehicles that house other vehicles exist that is higher level full scale war not gang warfare level so while to would be cool to have bikers launch out of tanks straight into battle it's not this game.
Aside from those freaky Van Saar the typical Brute is a dumb bruiser kept around for muscle not brains. Would you trust a 'roided out 'Zerker to handle things like door handles and sitting patiently?
