I know, been out for a while, but I saw my first game of Legions Imperialis yesterday and my mind went straight to "travel size" necromunda. It's not perfect, but they do make human sized miniatures for legions imperialis (solar auxiliary). You'd need little round bases since legions imperialis isn't designed for single models on bases, but not that hard to make.
They have a ruined building set. And armored shipping containers.
Scale should be roughly 1/3rd to 1/4th of necromunda, which would mean that typical necromunda table size of 4' x 4' or 3' x 3' could be reduced to a single 1' x 1'. And they even make 1' x 1' game tiles for legions imperialis....
I like my big models, but if I could play necromunda on a 1' x 1' table, then I could bring my game and play like at a coffee shop or another store that wouldn't normally cater to this sort of game because they normally require too much space.
I wonder how hard it would be to get some scaled down templates... probably pretty easy.
Then just divide the game ranges by 1/4th or 1/3rd and play normally.
