TRIBEMEET MANCHESTER UK 2026 (Mankymeet 2)

One day my child you too may equal the heights of my HEFT.

Game 3

@Biggle_Bear versus @Stoof

Stoof took pity on my four last remaining gang members by suggesting a game of hit and run that has limited numbers on the board. So with the story that his gang saw the opportunity to wipe the struggling rival gang’s last foothold in Mankfester, we set up.

As the attacker, he rolled a secret objective. I placed my Pit Slaves and a ganger on the table. About time they did some work. I got dumb and dumber ready to at the bottleneck to clonk them as they approached. My first reinforcement was my movement 3 sniper on the other side of this flat battlefield where he couldn’t reach to a place where he could shoot.

We did take out a ganger that died. The second reinforcement was my newly appointed leader. He came behind the opponents and within charge of the unprotected heavy. What luck! I charged and got taken out immediately. @Stoof ’s next action was to move off the table, as it turned out, taking out my leader was his objective. I had handed him the very thing he needed. I tried to gun the remaining members down with my Pit Slaves but they never got the angle to get a shot off.

Even against a kind opponent that stacked everything in my favour, I still manage to hand the victory over.

🤦‍♂️😂😂😂

So with the story that his gang saw the opportunity to wipe the struggling rival gang’s last foothold in Mankfester, we set up.
“Did you hear? That gang that got a whipping is coming our way.
Y’know the one… leader got killed, one of his heavies got killed, the other was blinded. Sniper punctured in multiple places, a ganger went off with the other gang, his Ratskin got so fed up he legged it. Pit Slaves must’ve had flat batteries. Ha ha ha.

Now… now they’ve got another leader and they’re coming here!! *raucous laughter*

Should we… should we… *sniggers* give them a friendly welcome eh lads?? Big bonus for whoever gives their new leader a slap!”

“Hey! Hey! We’re back!!

You’ll never guess what these absolute Troll-touchers did!! Only sent their fresh-faced new boss over for a chat with us!!

Anyway our Heavy Boy here gave him a slap and a half!

What was that about a bonus?”

@Stoof

“Oh and someone’s dead. I think. Might’ve got lost on the way home…”

It was Siouxie "the blender" who died. Fluffed an easy auto pistol shot and got chewed up by a pitslave. A fitting end for my close combat monster. It's what she would have wanted*. 🫡

(*Possibly a close second choice to "dying painlessly of old age in her bed surrounded by her adoring family at the age of two hundred and sixty")

Sonja's Slicers are having a statistically acceptable time. Not great, not terrible.

Rokko the scummer was killed by a well placed overwatch shot from @Trafalgar Law's leader. He had not achieved very much beyond downing @Scavvierising's pitslave in the first game so his demise saved me from firing him.

Tessie "the Lazer" was last seen being dragged away by slavers, having been shot in the back by one of @CaptainDangerous' tunnel skulking Cawdor.

Advances have been going fairly well - the loss of Siouxie was the hardest (I will miss her chain sword) but otherwise they've been earning enough credits to keep up with replacements. A free juve from the settlement at the end of the last game was handy.

The Sump Angler Squig has only successfully fully taken over one fighter, but she didn't do anything particularly terrible and was saved afterwards. It did have a good fight with @Trafalgar Law's leader and two others but didn't achieve anything.

As usual I need to remember that fighters have skills building up on them. A couple of times I've realised too late that fighters could possibly have avoided their fate.

Gang Lion did ok (by my usual standard) in the THUNDERCUBE, fighting his way cleanly through the first round but succumbing in round 2.

Game 4

@Biggle_Bear versus @CaptainDangerous

Things have been going so bad that we’ve started selling ourselves to the Thunder Cube. I had a shootout in the arena against the captain clone.

My defacto leader lost his nerve first and fumbled his draw. The leader was pinned and the heavy downed before they could draw.

The Pit Slaves charged in during the first round of normal play, to defend their employer. The combat was brutal and close. One slave took one out but was shivved himself. That one was taken out by the leader who recovered from pinning. The second slave took down the last of the clone’s gangers, and slogged it out with the captain, only surviving because of his exceptional 5 toughness.

But lacking value to my leader, the slave got shot in the back by the leader. The mutant slave took this as a punishment for failing and went beserk mode on the captain.

With bated breath we rolled the captain clone’s injury… 13! Dead!

F in chat for captain clone 6.

The Yak Wife has deemed me getting out and socialising a success yesterday. So she demanded I get up and do some more. Fortified with stims (coffee and a surprise breakfast in bed) and threats of getting the sproglings to jump on me if I didn't move. She has managed to stick me in a taxi and I'm inbound for day 2!!

Lol ... I may need to sleep in a corner for a bit.

@=][=SW1=][= vs @CaptainDangerous

Under the grimy streets of Mankfester the MMG (Mankfester Moonshine Guild) thought their main production stills were safe and sound. Located where vents pump moist air down from higher up the Hive giving the perfect conditions for the giant fungi growths needed for their special brew. Noone, not even the Robing Sons Brewers had ever dared to venture into this holy of brewing grounds.

This state of affairs was going to change quickly as Clone 6 was on his way to trash production with the TRL-BRU Promotions Team.

They didnt really try a sneak approach as Clone 6 could be heard bellowing something about upstart guilds when they burst into the main cavern alerting MMG to the visitors, kicking off their first real challenge.

Guns fired, knives carved and slashed. In the confusion many dropped including the loud mouthed brute in the bright orange budgie smugglers. Dice the youngest Juve of the MMG raced between the mushroom stems and over the vents plunging his 2 knives into the prone form of Clone 6's body. Even while being taken out of action he didn't stop the ranting, till he was given a Mank kiss across the throat.

At the same time at the other side of the cavern saw the last moments of Old Pa. For some reason getting tickled with a flamer made him explode into a fireball.

With the number of casualties increasing and Clone 6's inspiring ranting no longer boying the TRL-BRU Teams spirits they fled the botched attack dragging their wounded with them.

Old Pa passed away from the burns and in retrospect he had likely been sampling the newest batch of MMG's Boom Juice when he exploded. Everyone else was lucky that the massive container filled with Boom Juice hadn't been struck in the fight as a production run was just about to end.

Intrepid Juve “Captain Dangerous” spent the weekend proving himself as a professional Squig wrangler. He only missed two games thanks to an infected wound… and was later seen here getting far too close to the infamous Blob of Doom.

Alas, he wasn’t quite as quick as @Stoof ’s heavy — the vicious old beast dragged him off screaming. Somehow the lad crawled back later, covered in fresh impressive scars. He won’t sleep alone anymore and cries a lot, but otherwise he was none the worse for wear!

Cheers all for a great weekend of gaming. Extra thanks to the Captain for arranging everything.

Somehow I managed to win, despite forgetting to include the Auto Repairer in the gang rating which adds an extra 80 points taking my final total to 2106. Not sure what I'm going to do with my prize, I think the squat vehicle looks a bit high tech to Orkify in my usual fashion, but perhaps it could be a conveyance for my Escher girls or maybe I should create a Squat gang?

I especially enjoyed the game of Inquisitor With Stoof and Biggle Bear and would have liked to have played more and see how the story developed.

Thank you @CaptainDangerous for all your efforts, it was a great weekend 👍

Here we have what I will term an "incompetence-off" - Trixx from the Slicers and one of @Trafalgar Law's gangers, neither of which had achieved much of anything for the whole weekend, facing off against each other in our final game. Who is the demagogue of disappointment? The majesty of mediocrity? The pinnacle of patheticness...?

@Trafalgar Law's girl wins it! Running out of ammo, failing to charge and then getting pinned.

Trixx managed to do the pinning, so her only successful hit of the weekend ending her on a rather flat high note. At least she broke her shotgun doing it - atta girl!

Bottom right of this picture we see Trixx out of ammo and Thwack the Juve lying in a bin. Why? Well, she'd been plasma cannoned in the face from across the table and fallen 13" into the bin. She was, before falling, less than an inch from reaching @Trafalgar Law's gang stash of fresh fruit (worth a fortune!) and potentially winning the scenario.
It was her first and last game in the Slicers.
We salute you, Thwack the almost legendary!

And finally, thank you for the votes for Top Troll of Mankymeet 2026! Here is my trophy, resplendent on my trophy cabinet (it has one trophy on it so that makes it a trophy cabinet even if it looks a lot like the top of a bookshelf).

Game 5

@Biggle_Bear versus @=][=SW1=][=

As SW1’s groxboys were having a fun time squig hunting in the abandoned ruins, they came across the remnants of Shadowlaw as they were bottomfeeding for anything of value.

The shadowlaw goons split into three pairs in the hope of doing a grab and split, but the first loot turned out to be hiding a squig, the second was contested by sw1 and the third pair got a loot counter but took up overwatch to give the others a better chance.

The two slaves came up against sw1’s leader and juves. The leader somehow made a disarm against them both and the got quickly chopped up. Before the second team could get to the goodies, a posse of plasma toting gunslingers came around the corner shooting everything up. The leader and heavy did some good shooting but the delay caused them to get surrounded and dragged down.

In the end my entire were taken out of action before they could even fail the bottle test.

My squat pit slave and heavy were captured. Sniper and leader were killed. I was going into the campaign climax with a single hanger with multiple injuries and an injured pit slave.
