Well I've sorted hotel and trains now so wether there is space for me I'll be at the hotel with my gang and fleet anyway.

Van Saar gang the Thunder Techs

After a sequence of events that saw orbital silo 3647-AD launch it's ground to orbit torpedoes accidentally. PDF HQ decided not to restock the silo and closed it down. Sabotage by a rival clan wishing to take the contract to their silo was to blame. Necromunda being what it is no investigation was launched.

The tech clan that maintained the silo were not going to leave willingly and no forces were sent to remove them. Soon they realised what potential a silo with a huge underground magazine for the orbital torpedoes has as a storage vault.

With most raw material and foodstuffs coming from off world and the huge production output of Necromunda. There is great opportunity the lowest of all guilders, the commodity traders to make credits.

With the fluctuations of warp tides and the volume of produce moving both ways. There are always things in surplus as well as things in short supply. These guilders buy surplus at low prices and horde it like the winged reptiles of ancient Terra. Until the next supply shortage drives prices up.

So rich and secure in their vault fortress have the tech clan become from storage fees. That the only current threat is from within. Young ambitious gangers ready to climb the ladder.
To remedy this the clan leaders have sent out the most belligerent of these upstarts out into the wider world to secure more territory. If they succeed, more glory to the clan. If they fail, a rival has been removed.

The Thunder Techs are one such gang and they have decided to strike their claim in Mancfester or die trying.

Gang Name: Iron Widow
House: Esher
Version: NCE
gang info: Earning its name through unbreakable matriarchs clad in scavenged iron. Feared across the Underhive, they endure where others fall, killing with patience, and cold mechanical precision. Gang motto: 'Endure the bite. Deliver the venom.'
THUNDERCUBE! Champion Name: Rixa Chainfang

Gang Name: Lord Buckethead's By-Election Campaign Team
House: Pit Slave
Version: Oldmunda (NCE)
gang info: Lord Buckethead has heard that there may be some contenders for the local by-election (no-one else in the hive knows what that is) and has decided to launch a grass-roots campaign to go around and encourage the local populace to support him with their vote (whatever that is), any financial aid they can provide (unlikely), and if anyone else standing (for "election", presumably) they will be made to be not standing (at all)...
THUNDERCUBE! Champion Name: BucketBoy

Other games: happy to partake, but unlikely to have minis for whatever gets ran. If people suggest stuff I have minis for, I may possibly bring those, but what state of paint they'll have is likely grey-centric...

I can’t wait for the campaign lore to drop. Then we can start forming rivalries and alliances. And know if we need to prep anything else, like a squig wrangler from the first event.

THUNDERCUBE! Champion Name: Roger Headchoppa

Event Admin Stuff:
Iv updated the Gangs section, just got to add my own and change clockworks deets.

@Trafalgar Law you still need to set up a yak account for Mrs Trafalgar Law
I also need names for both your THUNDERCUBE! Champions.

Iv made a list of all the Champions in the THUNDERCUBE! Rules Subsection.

Iv declared the Event: Full. As explained earlier, you can register your interest in coming still, but places will be dependant on other yaks dropping out.

Secondary games mentioned:
Pillage
Inquisitor
BFG
Gorkamorka
Frostgrave
Warmaster
Blood bowl
Let me know if iv missed any.

My super secret project is a necro version of blood bowl, which I’ll be making two custom teams for (I’ll be creating a thread elsewhere to go into more detail)
But I’ll need a yak to take charge for each game, remember that time is very finite, so don’t go too crazy with it. We could always make a seperate event if needs be?!

And lastly, @=][=SW1=][= and myself will be doing terrain for two tables, and I know some of you have already declared interest, but I need 6 volunteers for a table of terrain each and a title for their table.

…I think that’s it for now?

P.s. just remembered something else:
Only hired guns taken at gang creation can be used over the weekend. If they die, they’re gone. But if you can’t afford them or you chose to retire them from injuries, they must go into the communal mercenary pool with a stat card filled out for them.

I approve of this hired gun approach!

Terrain wise I’m afraid at best I can contribute some small structures, servitors mounted to buildings, and scatter to complement another Yak’s setup.

I also have a set of battlesystems card terrain but it’s hardly fit for necromunda, again it could make a few buildings here and there if we’re desperate (which i doubt we will be knowing the creativity and productivity on here!)

I can do a terrain table.

Totally Honest Deek's Used Transport Emporium.

I can provide another mat for anyone else, and in an emergency I can also do a table of MetroMorph but it will need scatter (I see @Fold may be able to help there). It's best to build it as a communal project as it's a bit faffy. I'll bring it if we're short of table suppliers.

One of us! One of us!!

Many thanks Mrstrafalgarlawswife @murderofcrows92

Re THUNDERCUBE! Champions - there will be plenty of pit slaves floating around on the day (I’ll have the 4 original ones with me) so making a mini is completely optional! (They might not even last a dice roll) However, I will need their names to keep Ze list right!

Put me down for one table - I’ll be bringing the THUNDERCUBE but one way or another it will be a fully playable table by then.

I’ve also been working on quick 3D printed flat pack terrain, that I’ll try use this as motivation to finish, and even if I don’t I can bring something else to fill many tables 🤣 if we need it. Just let me know nearer the event.

Ive also got a full Pit Slave gang built especially for the CUBE so I’ll bring them for anyone who needs a fighter.
