Mel Brooks comic genius at its best. A lot of the humour you couldn’t get away with today because of the snowflake culture, but it’s still an amazingly funny film, as are all his others.

With Yakday Scotland just around the corner, I'm getting on building and painting my vehicles - I should be ready just in the nick of time...
The bikes are roughly speaking painted up and made, just need details and washes, and the truck needs gluing and washing.
The biker bodies need building and painting, and I'm trying to make unmounted versions for them as well.
I'm going to use the Outlanders Community Edition version of the Pit Slave rules to make my gang, for reference.

I still haven't finished my Taurox. Eek!
I have my gang generated but I don't think anyone has 100% stated what rules we're actually using, so I don't know if I need more vehicles or what.

I'm banking on my gang never getting particularly large - any Pit Slave gang I've ever run has never been particularly big (5-7 members) and never gotten above the starting number of members each time, so I'm thinking that three Pit Slaves exclusively sit on bikes and the rest ride around in the truck (I do have other models that I can use in case I can actually increase the number of gang members - I just put them in the truck...)
If it's any consolation, I need to get the riders from undercoated Marine Bike Scout legs, crudely chopped up Kairic Acolyte torsos, Anvil Industry heads and hands and greenstuff into actual minis, and the same roughly goes for the on-foot variants...

I'm working on my lists - I have two options depending on how well I do with my building & converting. However, I have scrap left to burn from my 300 in every loadout I create so far. Can we buy upgrades? Armour etc?

I've got it down to 35 Scrap left, I can live with that.
It does mean I'll have a really scrappy old vehicle as a second truck, but never mind. It's a shame I never managed to get the Cold One idea sorted out. The Taurox has been undercoated! It's mainly going to be painted by drybrushing tonight, as it's quick and easy and looks ok.

Excellent! Then I guess the Taurox has Ablative armour (from the ash wastes vehicle equipment rules) taking it to exactly 300 cred spend

Hopefully! The ablative armour isn't that great, but it'll help and just so happened to cost exactly what I had left over.
I have printed the Ash Wastes vehicle, beastie and campaign rules and a set of speed markers... I have pdfs of the latest NCE & OCE versions... is there anything else you think needs to be printed? I wasn't going to bother with the registration cards like previous YakDays as there are only three of us - not too much to keep track of!

Quick question; can I put some of my credits from making my gang into adding weapons to my bikes? As it stands I'll have three bikes, but only two of them can have mounted shotguns...
I have no problem with that. It will cost you x2 the cost of the weapon so it's not like you're gaining an adavantage.

Only so long as he's on his bike - remember he can't carry a mounted weapon off the bike if he dismounts/crashes. My biker has a shotgun "mounted" to the bike and is armed with a shotgun for if/when he dismounts. Totally not because the biker I built years ago is holding a shotgun and I didn't want to change it.
