GUILD WAR

NCE Ruleset:
*1200 credits for recruitment (upto 1000 for gang members + upto 10d6 exp. + upto between 100-200 additional equipment inc. hired guns)
*may only bring upto two hired guns and may not hire any mid event.
*may re-hire gang members used in Yakday event inc.leaders (any gangs that were involved in the zombie outbreak must roll to see if ganger is infected!)
*must be as wysiwyg as possible
*must try to stick to house weapon lists (it’s just for flavour so the odd weapon here or there is fine)
*must be painted with at least three colours and painted bases

Guilders:
* all house gangs automatically have a guild contact as their first territory
* with this territory (and any subsequent guilder contacts rolled) they gain a guilder, who must be represented as a model
* guilders count as a member of the gang in all respects (e.g. must fight if selected for scenario, counts towards gangs upkeep cost) and starts with 0 exp. and gains exp.
* guilders can’t work territories, but always add +1 roll on the rare trade chart provided they aren’t recovering from injury.
* guilders stats are exactly the same as a wryd hired gun, with the exception that they can never be posessed. Obviously they can never be turned in as outlaws.
* guilders select a primary wryd power (any power any table) and roll for a minor power exactly as a wryd, but it is upto the player to come up with why he/she has said abilities.( E.g. beasts =pets, an alien weapon, an ancient artefact, an indomitable will, a ring of powaar etc.etc.
* if the guilder is killed in battle, the territory is also lost.
* if captured, guilder and territory are automatically handed over to the captors (the guilder loses faith/changes his investment)
* if captured by outlaws, they can either keep him (the guilder has turned crooked) or treat him as they would another captive, except they gain triple the value for ransacking the territory plus the guilders exp. in credits. (3d6 x 10 + x)
* if a gang with a guilder loses a territory, it will automatically be the guild contact (roll randomly for multiple guilders)
* guilders may be given additional equipment. May only select weapons from pistols, hth and ammo lists.

At the end of the weekend, the gang with the most guilders will become the official watchmen of the dome, their leader becomes the sheriff and the player himself becomes the mayor! The first appointment of the new mayor will be to name the dome!
If two or more gangs have the same amount of guilders then the combined exp will be the deciding factor.

Also at the end of the weekend, the scavvy gang with the most guilders eaten will have the official scavenging rights to the dome (honour amongst scavs), their leader will be crowned scavvy king and all other scavvies must pay homage to their newly appointed monarch!

Greetings friends and welcome to TRIBEMEET UK 2018!
Contrary to popular belief, my weirdboy warphead ways were thoroughly kept at bay and I, just about, managed to get a crack squad of first rate Yaks in the same room on the same day! (There was also four tables of terrain and twenty foot of sandwich!)
And I think it's time we did it all over again!

We have a lot to discuss and much to talk about, but I bet some of you are wondering, why is it not in September? Well, here's the plan!...
In five/six months time we are going to have the first ever Great Gathering of Yaks known as TRIBEMEET! It will be a national meetup of Yakmen from around Britain and is most welcome and open to any Yakker willing to make the journey to our fair shores! It will take place at the beginning of the year (Febuary/March) and will be held at a hotel with a conference hall, somewhere in the Midlands!
And as for September...
I propose that we do Yakday all over again!
I don't know about anyone else, but the two days just didn't seem enough time to me, so I would like very much that we keep the Yakday spirit going and continue celebrating our yakness at the polar ends of the nation! (I already have a candidate itching to set up an Edinburgh meetup) but what say you great yaks from the south?! Are you up for the challenge of uniting the London clans again and taking part in a global campaign?
I will leave the details for this for another thread, but I hope it gives food for thought!

My hopes are that, with the big event being as close to the middle of the country as possible, it will be fair on everyone travelwise and will also create some awesome comraderie amongst your local tribesmen! It would also serve well for yaks that just can't make the travel and gives those that can a second opportunity for more carnage and mayhem! I feel six months inbetween each event is adequate time for folks to save up and make plans should they wish to attend both. And it also gives other nations of yaks a chance to tie in with our own humble offerings, and to be able to join in the revelry of Yakday, but still have the freedom to coordinate their own dates for their own TRIBEMEETS!

But for now, all I ask is if Yakmen interested in coming to the first UK TRIBEMEET can register their vote.
There is no commitment attached to this poll, it is purely to gauge interest so I can accurately quote hotels and have a better idea for what size venue I should be looking for! The poll will be up for a month and by the end of it I will have afew hotels lined up, so it will just be a case of picking the most suitable!

I will do my upmost to make sure prices are fair and we get a good quality venue, befitting the most awesome men of the tribe!

As first mentioned in a seperate thread by the illustrious @Punktaku, and in support of the awesome community spirited co-ordinated efforts of @Mad Robot, the theme for TRIBEMEET UK 2018 will be a guild war! A brand new hive has opened up and all the Gangs of mega dome one can smell the creds! ....but so can the guild!!
I have quite a few ideas already that I will explain in the main events box, (when I get round to it) but I would really love to hear your thoughts and ideas!

Let me know what you think, and I will be on regularly to answer any questions and to update the event info!

Well, that's a valid point... However, the latest addition is 19 months now, and with Mrs MedMos having 'round the clock morning sickness, it's quite a handful at home.
Plus, the whole being in Denmark thing... But must say I'm kinda jealous of the Yakdays and Tribemeets over there. Maybe some day...
