My gang has not fared well thanks to Stoof...

Is there a prize for being retired after two games?

My Leader, Heavy and a Juve are all ready to die for your entertainment.

I didn't mean to... I even chose a scenario where @Trafalgar Law would get more fighters... then I rolled "take his leader OOA" as the objective and the dice gods spoke... I've never seen someone fail so many ammo rolls in a row. I even chose to shoot one at point blank range with a bolt pistol instead of my leader's meltagun so he didn't have to do High Impact afterwards.

It turns out it may have been kinder just to melta him in the face. Road to hell, good intentions etc etc...

At least they’re camouflaged for the THUNDERCUBE environment? Maybe the other fighters won’t see them??

On my front I made a tactical error of not buying any ammo for my Grenade Launcher so for the first game my Mighty Orlock leader… errr… tactically distanced himself from the fight! 😂

Did do reasonably well, in a classic move a my Juve, Cobra, killed an opposing Yak (I was against @ClockworkOrange’s Yak Gang) with a laspistol!!

Always the way.

Of course the Heavy Stubber was next to useless and the Flamer guy spent much of time lying down and will now miss the next three games!! Lazy B#####.

The man of match was MusingWarboss! Sadly not me but my Yak namesake who proudly cut down many of my Orlocks with his Heavy Stubber - which is as painful as it sounds. 😖

Headline Yak Attack Weekly:

Full of Sound But No Fury!!! Orlock Gang Eats Lead as Heavy Stubber Yak Shines

Ah, @ClockworkOrange but he might think you’re buying those things for your MusingWarboss… it’s what we call a loophole.

Anyway, what two Overlords do between battles is no concern of Horgs…
(unless he can monetise it)

Ditchface - the only fighter in Thundercube history to make it to the end of a round after shooting *himself* as the first action.

Allegations of match fixing are totally unfounded and it's pure coincidence that both Ditchface's manager and the winner of the bout left with significantly more money than they arrived with... 🤔

And that’s another Tribemeet complete 😭.

It seems the Hulk has(was) going to explode at a predetermined signal at 3pm? cue a desperate run with you leader to get the vehicles started followed by a chaotic high speed race back to the hive! But wait what’s this? you need to stop before you hit the wall?! Just roll a 6 to change down a gear…..

Shout out to @Karandrassh leader who was quick witted enough to use the debris ramp to escape!

Me, @Stoof, @Scavvierising, @Siren's knife, @TopHat were the only full gangs (to my knowledge) not to smash into the wall at high speed and die in a blaze of glory 🤣

Another TribeMeet comes to an end.

As is usual, the pictures and reports tail off a bit in day 2.

Here are some games in progress pics on the wonderful tables:

And we need to give full respect to the most important member of the committee for sterling efforts through the weekend to make sure everything went smoothly. That's right, it's a special shout out to The Urninator!

@MancInventor's HORG's Ammo Box made the weekend extra special and saw lots of kit used that is often overlooked - gas and scare grenades, photon flash flares, all the interesting sights and of courses those one-in-a-million weapons... (Rare? I had three at one point).

Special shout out for my fighters achievements:

Juve (now Ganger) Dick, for his extremely fast high speed low drag raiding tactics (Leap skill in, grab loot, throw a photon flash flare at anyone in the way, leap away. Any problems? Horg's Own Laspistol (two shots per hit).

Manhattan the ganger for his steadfast ability to miss 2+ to hit rolls with his Horg's-own-Boltgun (four times, damn him!).

And Halloween Jack, my Leader who took out way more than his fair share of opponents with Meltagun hits (sorry).

The Diamond Dogs survived the event, and may ride again...

Hmmm shout out to a few of my gangers while I remember. (Edit These stories are what make Necro great)

MusingWarboss - Quite literally a murderous boss of a heavy, don’t think I played a game with him on the table without him blasting at least one Ganger full of lead with his trusty Stubber. Most memorable moment was blasting a loot hunting Juve off the side of a boat straight onto a Gang Leader taking him OOA 🤣.

Spafe - The Yak with a hat, fought off 3 Eschers more or less single handedly after an ambush went wrong. Shrugged off at least one needle dart with no ill effect and did for a plant based gang leader with one shot! saving the entire flank and allowing his gang mates to run to freedom! muhaha.

Il Stoofle - Another who seemed to rock up the wounding hits in every encounter, he saved the best for the last gang fight/package run. Blocked an important route with scare grenades, pinned a Heavy stopping the rest of the gang getting flamed, and blasted another Ganger from a walkway. Lost count but it was at least 3 or 4 vs Il Stoofle. Il Stoofle Vite!

Malo - Steady, hit the target when you needed him too. Slowly stalked his prey through the ruins of the Hulk Fusion Reactor, finally taking his prey down with a needle dart so that he could drag Tiny‘s leader to the CUBE 🤣 Drove like a legend and managed to stop the impressive bulk of the good ship Phoenix and her transporter from smashing into the Hive.

Pagumb - Need something/someone stopped Boss? no problem! More than one unlucky Ganger was burned and put OOA by this pyromaniac. I just wish he’d brought more fuel.

CaptianDangerous - Not even an old battle wound could stop this reliable bullet sponge! yes he may have spent most of the weekend bleeding out but everyone has a job.

Mad Robot - Pit Slave. Turned up twice. Witnessed the greatest example of CUBE fixing ever seen.

Edit: The above legends and our extensive but questionable Juve recruitment policy / burn rate early on led to the mighty Yaktribe being the highest rated gang by the end of the weekend. Huzza!
