Just want to say thank you to all of the Yak committee who worked so hard to make this event happen. I had a wonderful time, the venue was excellent for gaming and sneaky snacking, and the craft on display was high quality. Thanks for having us.

They look like some sort of electrical box, but not of a shape I'm familiar with from my area. I'd love to know too - they look great!

They're resin pieces from gamemat.eu. They used to sell them separately and unpainted but now only as part of a huge pre-painted set.

They'd be a lot of resin cast whole. They're hollow rota-cast things for which I sadly lack the technology.

One day I'll get around to investing in some equipment.

Oh, that is an advantage, isn’t it? Thanks for letting me know. I can see he sells one of them on the website; I’ll definitely pick that up soon along with his bridges at a minimum. I’ve seen those around the internet but never knew who made them. Imho they’re great. All the photos on here are gold and I’d have loved to attend, but those boats!

The fashionably late account of The Raiders of the Captains PleasureCube! (Part 1 of 8)

CaptainClone #5 is enjoying a peaceful drink at Iiya’s bar, (where nobody knows your name) when the Kommisar breaks the news that the domes being flood!

The Captain rounds up his most able Crew and heads straight to the PleasureCube, where all the Clones store their best stuff!

Word travels fast, and every yak that can float hears the rumour that the captains treasures are open for the steal!

(Part 2)

Clockwork Teal (a defective Clone that the others don’t like talking about) was left with a skeleton crew of servitors to ward of/raise the alarm, should the Cube be under threat! The CaptainClones paranoia is proved correct!

The rafts and their ragtag misfit crews lumber forward in an uncoordinated lurch!
Gunshots are exchanged between groups and the pink turtle riders take most the heat!

A new crew catch up to the flotilla, all are closing in on the cube!

The defenders meagre shots prove futile

A mutiny breaks out on board the big platform! Too much testosterone for one ship to handle!

The attackers reach the wall and start to climb it’s feebly guarded walls!

A clone servitor watches a savage brawl in bemusement!

The cube is overwhelmed, everyone piles in, short range firepower is proving both accurate and deadly!

The mutiny gets resolved at the heavy end of Brutus maximus’ hammer!

Captain Orangebeard makes an impossibly athletic leap onto the wall

Clockwork teal closes her eyes and curls up a ball for her own safety, she is very conscious she has failed her orders!

Fighting ensues

A sneaky troll does it’s thing while everyone is enjoying the fight!

The first loot box is opened, and at a 6 to 1 chance, the grand prize is instantly revealed: CaptainClone #1’s bolt pistol!

CaptainClone #5 and the Kommisar finally make it from Iilyas bar, the Captain sees the sacrilege to the clones inner sanctum and dispairs!
