Ahoy, all.

I vaguely remember, possibly from an issue of White Dwarf, a story (a two page comic maybe?) about someone getting caught up in an attempted slave rebellion. It may have been from Inferno! or one of the Warhammer comics issues, but my brain wants to tell me White Dwarf.

My question is ... have I invented it whole cloth? Or does that short comic story actually exist?

A couple of comic possibilities here.

In the delivery Kal & Scabbs are escorting a slave group with a ratskin shaman in it who keeps causing them to suffer attacks/environmental hazards.

The Nemo Agenda has them caught up in an outlaw attack on a slave caravan.

There are definitely parts in the books like that as well, but I can't find my books to check.

It was - at least in my memory - comic book (sequential art) storytelling. It might have been Kal Jerico, it might have been the Redeemer, or it might have been neither, just a two-page short. Something about a slave revolt attempting to escape, and failing utterly.

Or it might be a Mandela Effect thing that never actually existed, but my memory wrongly built on actual memories. Were there Necromunda equivalents to the old Mordheim two-page comic strips in White Dwarf? Which reminds me that I should scan out and compile all those old Mordheim comics from White Dwarf. There were a handful of them.

I will keep hunting, as well. The Nemo Agenda sounds promising.

There's plenty of revolting slaves-type scenarios and visuals in the Kal Jerico and Redeemer comic books, maybe what you saw was a taster excerpt of some of that
