Hi everyone

Wanted everyone's opinion on Tunnels with the Orlock Boon

The rules are a little grey to me...

The gang may choose to deploy up to six fighters via tunnels using the method detailed above. The fighters in each group must be specified before the battle.

In the method detailed above: The gang may choose to have up to three fighters deploy via tunnels ahead of any battle

The grey area, is this is the only time the number of fighters are mentioned in the method detailed above!

I feel there should be am added comment in the Enhanced Boon to explain how those six fighters need to grouped

Because RAW, you should group all six fighters as detailed above

But the last line "The fighters in each group must be specified before the battle" makes one player RAI that it implies they should be split into groups

How do you play this territory and how did you come to that decision

Thanks in advance

I think our Arbiter just ruled it as if you doubled the base trait, so instead of one group of 1-3, you have to do a group of 3 and then another group of 1-3 depending on how many guys you take. His reasoning was "it makes the most sense", which considering Necromunda rules don't always make sense, is now suspect on looking back...

Thank you, I have been looking at it in two ways

First, in the main text, you change three to six, using the each group part, means that the controlling player needs to decide ahead of the battle how he will group his fighters

Second, in the main text, you don't change the three to six, but instead do the main text part twice, the each group part then refers to which group of three he has to roll for

This is really been a tough one, in some ways it seems OP to do it the first ways, but then Delaque can infiltrate six fighters with needle ways

The second way seems to restrictive

Two groups all hinges on the fact that if it were a single group of six, "each group" would make no sense.
Thank you for this

One way I have been thinking is that if you are changing the Three to Six in the main text, each group means that now the controlling player needs to decide how he will group his fighters before deciding which tunnel they are going to come on from
