Update Underhive Tools Development

I figured out that I can manually edit the fighter type.

Yeah, but you had to do some looking to figure it out, and I had to be told (yeah, I'm dumb).
A straightforward fix would reduce a lot of forum chatter and player confusion . A fix like: whatever the title of the ganger is that gets the upgrade simply adds the abbrevaition "Spec" after it's previous regular type. example: "Neophyte Hybrid" upgrades and gets renamed to "Neophyte Hybrid Spec."

First of all amazing work!
Thank you very much!

I don't know if it has already mentioned, but the Genestealer Cult Alpha is missing his hazard suit as a free starting equipment.

Again, amazing work! Cheers!

I thought I'd fixed that... apparently not. I've added Hazard Suit to starting equipment for the Alpha and I've also added it to all existing fighter entries that were missing it.

When I upgrade a GSC Neophyte into a specialist the type changes to Aberrant Specialist.
ok the code in place to automatically update house fighters to specialists isn't very good. I must have rushed that part or was drunk, there's several considerations it doesn't take into account. I'll put it on the list to handle soon but for now you can simply change the fighter type manually.

Yeah. Great job on the tools @Malo.

But... is there any way to have a print option for gang sheet with notes? Helps to put reminders on there for stuff (eg Fearsome or ammo rerolls with gold plated guns, neither of which I remember until too late).

Just wondering about Territory effects,
Got a tech bazaar and bought a power axe for 18 credits rather than 35, how am I best implementing this? Just adding the 17 credits (35-18) to my stash on top? Or is there a proper method to do it

That’s the right method currently.

Though I would think that it should be rounded to the nearest 5 credits instead of to the nearest 1 credit, given that everything in the game is rounded to the nearest 5 and other rules (like Sell to the Guilders) already do this.

There is no "undo" but I can restore from a backup if you need. Link me the gang.
If that's relatively easy I have a similar problem with one of my gangs; I accidentally updated the wrong gang, deleting all my notes from our previous campaign when we started our new one. It's the last two changes to the Steel Brutes (https://yaktribe.games/underhive/gang/the_steel_brutes.11724) in February 2019 that I want to undo (the updates in December 2018 are all correct), but if it's a pain in the neck then don't worry about it (the campaign is over now, it would just be nice to have the option of looking back over the details of it).

First of all, thank you for your efforts with the underhive tools!
They help me tremendously in organizing my upcoming campaign.

I have a feature request, which has already been implemented for the gangs, which is to expose the campaign page data in JSON-format.
That would solve a lot of issues that I am currently facing when i'm trying to consolidate all campaign data into one view.

I tried to clone the gang to update it in a copy until you do the rollack and it removed the gang from the campaign it was in. Is it normal when you clone a gang ?

Most definitely the copy of the gang will not be in a campaign. Keep in mind you can clone any gang, could be someone else's from the other side of the world you don't know. Also the campaign admin decides what gangs are allowed in the campaign. There must be that control still, even with cloned gangs.

I've come across an interesting conflict, I've started a splinter gang and taken an old juve as a champ, changing his label correctly changed his type but I'm now prompted to give him a 'free starting primary skill' is that correct?
Technically no, I don't believe that's correct. Changing the type uses the new source type starting skills value though so that's why it's complaining. I didn't really cater for that situation and I don't think there's a quick fix for something like that. I'll have to figure something out.

What I meant was it removed the original gang from the campaign. It also changed the name of the original gang from "Primus Phoenixes" to "Copy of Primus Phoenixes".
Can you please restore my gang (https://yaktribe.games/underhive/gang/primus_phoenixes.40898/) from a backup to undo the changes made after "2019-03-29 uid35405: Equipment Flak Armor sent to trash" ?

That means you're looking at the new cloned gang, which adds "Copy Of" to the name. You can go by the IDs, the original gang will be a lower ID than the new copy.

I only have 7 days of history sorry.

Please, I have a basic understanding of how this site is supposed to work.
Original gang's ID is 40898, I clicked on "clone gang", which created the copied gangs with ID 50306 and 50305 (the 2nd copy may have been caused by my mouse which glitches some times and do double-clics on its own).
Now if you look at the gang 40898, you can see that it's no longer into a campaign and that its name is now "Copy of Primus Phoenixes" instead of "Primus Phoenixes".
You can also see that the name of the gangs 50306 and 50305 is also "Copy of Primus Phoenixes" and not "Copy of Copy of Primus Phoenixes" which shows that the name of the original gang was "Primus Phoenixes".

Well that's disappointing, I asked on the same day that the error was made by the player who erased my infos.

Can you please consider adding an undo button ?
