Update Underhive Tools Development

Do you have a link @Bearstrangler ? I've jsut tried adding hunt champ 3 to my venator gang and he did come in with hte goliath esk stat line

not sure if it might be a refresh issue as it seems sometimes I can change the type and it will work sometimes not, my hunt leader has switched but can't seem to swithc her back to hunt leader 1 either,

I am using Chrome, pretty sure its up to date.

ah, here's your issue. while you can 'change' the type of hunter, really that is there so house gangs can upgrade gangers to specialists, and juves into champions (where it doesnt change their stats, jsut the title).

You need to add a new fighter of that number for them to come into your lsit with those stats. so you can add hunter tpye 1, and hunter type 3, and they will have different stats, but if you add 2 hunter type 1 then you 'change' one hunter to type 3, they will both still have type 1 stats.

Ahhh, ok I will do that then,
might be nice for it too switch though, didn't think it was an unreasonable assumption based on the description :) So many options, as a suggestion maybe there could be a tick box that allowed update stats as well for when you create the wrong type eg what I did here. Saves re creating the entire entry.

I do get where you are coming from, but I suspect it is due to venators being such an outlier rather than a common problem.
 
Book of Judgement - Update 2
This update focuses on weapons and equipment and a few interface changes
  • Most equipment and weapons, along with the weapon stats are now in place. Special ammo has not been added yet.
  • Added Alignment status for Gang info, allows players to switch between Law Abiding and Outlaw
  • Alignment status added to gang and campaign XML/JSON data
  • Campaign page displays gang Alignment in an icon form
  • Added new Illegal type to equipment structure
  • Added Legality slider for the trading post with identical functionality to rarity
  • Update Trading Post interface to an accordion-style collapsed to make it easier to find the particular equipment since there's so many weapons and ammo now.
And some of them would make a dark eldar blush

Hopefully this is the right place, apologies if not.
It doesn’t currently appear it’s possible to add Sludge Sea boons (3 x choke grenades) to your gang for free (as per the boon).
Unless I’ve missed something, the only way to do it is to fiddle your credits, and add enough so they appear purchasable in the trading post.
Happy to be corrected, otherwise, would be great to be able to add such boons to the stash for free

There's many situations where something might be gotten cheaper or for free but the tools don't necessarily handle it. You can either a) purchase them from the trading post and refund yourself the credits, or b) unlock equipment restriction and Add them to a ganger in the ganger editor.

There's probably enough reasons out there for me to integrate an Add button in the trading post like the ganger equipment editor has. The confusion between adding and purchasing in the ganger editor was frustrating though.

Hello. First of all, great work! We are using the underhive tool fore a campaign, and it's great.
But I've one problem (a bug?): I've a chaos cult gang and The Demagogue miss the option "Status item-Chaos Familiar". The rules allow he to have a familiar, andI can add a familiar to witch and disciple so, why the demagogue cant buy it? Thanks :) And sorry for my english

Hi - Looks like this is the place for feedback on the Tools, so I hope I'm not making a fool of myself here:

By my observation, it seems like Stun Grenades simply don't exist in the tool? Is there something I'm missing? I've tried with every type of gang, and they're seemingly not available to add or to buy from the Trading Post.

And of course, the obligatory thanks: this is an absolutely amazing resource, really knocked it out of the park. Excellent design, it's intuitive as hell. Thoroughly smoothed over the otherwise complex gang creation process for me and my noobie friends.

I had incorrectly locked Stun Grenades to Enforcers, they're available in the Trading Post now. Thanks for reporting the issue.

Excellent design, it's intuitive as hell
I appreciate the kind words but I'm not sure I've had anyone say my tools are intuitive :) Usually folks state they're confusing. Really glad they're helpful for your group though.
 
So I managed to spend the last few nights working on the Alliance integration, which will bring Guilds and Criminals to the tools. They're basically another gang option to select and once they're added, you have the option of including the representatives in your gang list, which get added as fighter cards.

The other thing will be if players have guild bond rackets, will these affect the allies system?

Yes it's about finished, just need some data entry.

In what way in particular? Having Enhanced Boons automatically show if you have the linked guild for example? If so, yes that's the plan.

Speaking as someone who works with a lot of web apps - it could be so, SO much worse! Seriously, if I didn't need a manual to figure out how to use the tool, I'm calling it intuitive!

I'm obviously daft and didn't read this (and we're kicking off our campaign tomorrow) - however if you dig into the custom gangers in profile you should find the various stat lines for each of the allies (maybe save you some data entry there - although I was a bit fast and loose with the skills... so maybe not as helpful as I thought
