I'm working on a tool to take ganger info from the gang's JSON and turn it into formatted BBCode for use with Tabletop Simulator. Is there any way to request changes/enhancements to the JSON output for gangs?

Particularly:
  • Is there a way to include any additional information about equipment? Right now it is just name and qty, but if "category"/"type" could be included, that would be quite useful to me
  • Is there any way to have the "modified" stats included in the output? By that I mean that the stats that are in the output do not take into account any injuries the ganger has suffered.
  • Would it be possible to include a list of advances instead of just the advancement count?
Thank you for all your work, I've already got a great little tool going for making TTS-Yak integration easier thanks to you!

For the Venator gangs, some of the items are highlighted in green, like they are receiving a discount (ie. clubs, bolt pistols), but I'm unsure why? For example, a bolt pistol is listed as 25 creds, but Gangs of the Underhive lists it at 45 creds. Apologies if I have missed something, but I can't find any changes in the FAQ / errata or any other references to this on the forum.

But i would also rely like if the house terrain/equipment would be but into the fold. But as i said there is a way to fix it ourself. Just did that whit some of the free equipment you get form the house favor list.

Just FYI if you're still interested in this, I'm working on adding equipment stats as an option for the output and will add the category.

I'll check the stats, they should be final modified versions including injuries.

I will also look at an option for breaking out advances in a useful way. Is there particular data or format you're looking for?

I completely missed this request earlier sorry, also missed that section of Artifice. I'll work on adding this new equipment section.

are there any plans to add the outlaw butes from WD458?
Let me see if I can get details on these to add.

I couldn't find Butcher's Cleaver in the House of Chains in Goliath Forge Tyrant equipment list, maybe it's there by mistake.

A possible bug to report: I'm working on a Venator gang, and none of the four types of Hunter Specialists actually have access to the Special weapons category.

It could be because Venators specialists don’t actually get access to special weapons under the rules.

Remember when the Venators rules were written all gangers could take special weapons after the first game, but Venators hunters could never take them.

Ahh, that's fair - I was building my list with one of the fan-made collected books as my reference, and it seemed to make Venator specialists work like the other ones I'm more used to working with. In that case is there any game-mechanical benefit to making a Venator a Specialist?

The specialist gets to pick their advancements instead of rolling randomly on a table.

It is worth noting though that the new house of books have changed how special weapons are able to be used so that gangs with new books can only give special weapons to specialists, while gangs built using Gangs of the Underhive can give special weapons to all of their regular gangers after the first game.

For Venators though their Hunters are more like Hive Scum than Bounty Hunters so they are limited in the same way.

For advances, I think something like { "name": String, "xpCost": Integer, "gangerValue": Integer } would be all that's needed.
All I particularly want myself is to list out the advances by name, like "Advances: Intelligence, Agility - Catfall" so all I need is name/description, but xpCost/gangerValue might be useful

Re: modified stats, it seems that stat modifications from equipment are also not included in the XML/JSON. I noticed this particularly with Goliath genesmithing.
