Update Underhive Tools Development

Hi all, I'm new and compliments to this community. Looks great. Me and two friends wanne start a campaign in Old school Necromunda. I tried to create a "Custom gang" but cant create new members somehow. I says' "missing gangmember information". Does anyone know how to solve this?

Solved it myself haha, I needed to make the profiles first myself in the Tools section.
If you want to play an Old School (1995 version) Necromunda campaign, then you first need to make sure you're in the "Necromunda Tools" section, and not the "Necromunda: Underhive Tools" section. The former is for 1995 Necromunda, and should have al of the gangs and options for that version of the game. The later is for the newer, 2017-present version of the game, and has all of the gangs and options for that version. you won't be able to make N95 gangs in Underhive, nor vice versa.

When making a custom ganger with Underhive Tools the "crew" option (to make them vehicle crew) always defaults to yes, even if you set it to no. You need to edit them after creating them to change it to non-crew.

Another thing, some of the Hangers-on come equipped with their items, and some do not (where there is an option of what they have I assume). In the later case you can add the appropriate items for free, so I assume everything is working as intended.

In our Necromunda NCE campaign we get a ERROR 404 screen from this site. Is there anything we are doing wrong or is this a bub or something like that?

Found an issue
For the ARACHNI-RIG, the TWIN-LINKED HEAVY LAS CARBINE is missing the word "HEAVY' from the name, and it's missing the trait Twin-linked

If you're playing NCE, then you need to make sure you're using the Necromunda Tools section, and not the Necromunda Underhive Tools.
 
I created a bounty hunter and got him a combi laser/meltagun looking at its laser profile it looks like a lasgun, shouldnt this be a laspistol? I remember the lasgun/meltagun being in N17 but got nerfed since it was too strong on HOA. The new rulebook doesn't have lasgun/meltagun combi in the trading post either.
 
To clarify, only one las/meltagun combi weapon exists (currently), and that includes laspistol (not lasgun) and it has never been in the trading post.
 
Hey boys, wanted to drop in and say thanks for all of the work you all do. I’m running my third campaign and I am satisfied with the campaign manager and gang builder.

One of my players wants to know if there are plans to update the Tools to take into account the changes made in Bookromunda 2023. if so, when can we expect the changes to be active?I saw that the equipment lists, and Gangs have all been changed with this new pdf.

I had a couple of questions that might have been asked before, I'll keep reading to see if it did and edit when I come across the answers but:

  • I'd love to contribute some code, is there a git repository I can clone if the tool is written in a language I can write in?
  • I'd love if the awesomely implemented alliances characters are available (via the rules in mostly the Outcast book) as custom gangers for all of us when using an Outcast gang
  • I'd also love if the profiles and items of the Outcast books are available when building a custom gang. Sure, it won't solve all people's options, but it seems to me to be much more effective then having to start from scratch. People that aren't building an Outcast gang can still go full custom.
  • Could we allow people to copy or directly add gangers from the other gangs in the custom gang profile? If I want to start with a Ogryn overboss, why can't I just buy that from the Slave Ogryn list?
Let me know if I'm wrong or this is an oversimplification. I just thought, given all the work already in the Alliances, it would be an awesome starting point.
 
Are there plans to re-sort the Wyrd Powers into their disciplines and house specific ones? As I am building a Psyker off the BoO i am noticing missing skills like Hallucinations from the list.
 
Malo has been quiet for a while so it’s likely he’s busy with real-world stuff at the moment. I wouldn’t expect any major updates to the tools for a while. Of course, he could be coming up with a mega-update, but I suspect not. The custom tools will have to continue doing the lifting for a while yet methinks.
 
Is it possible to remove oneself from a Campaign if one is not the arbitrator? Managing my own campaigns, and I'd like to shorten the list of random old failed campaigns I'm inexplicably still in.

Yes. I’m The administrator for the campaign, here, and one player that is not an admin removed his own gang. He wanted to have a new gang receive an invitation to join because the campaign hasn’t really started yet
