As I have a bunch of Taurox with wheel conversions that make excellent MRAP type vehicles and would make a nice base for an Enforcer vehicle.

Playing around with the Outlands book and the variance between fixed and custom vehicles I have the following as a proposed vehicle:

*silly grim dark name* "Party Bus/Weewoo Wagon/etc" for nickname.
195 Credits
6" 6 6 6 3 7+ 4+
Comes equipped with 1 Weapon Hardpoint (All Around Arc), Large Transport Cage, Extra Armour.

Upgrades available: 2 Body, 2 Drive, 3 Engine

Does not count as Jury-rigged

Base available weapons are:
Heavy Concussion Ram 70 Credits
Auto Cannon 160 Credits

Auto cannon is a little different but fits the Taurox turret well, so I went with it over the HB. I would also be good for some sort of Grenade machine gun, but that will require much thought and play testing for balance.

I would appreciate balance thoughts. This is mostly predicated around the raw cost of the ridge runner. I am also planning on a 40 credit crew cost.

I am very tempted to make it 190 credits base. That gives 300 with crew and the Hv Concussion Ram with 100 credits for 2 bikes at start.
Or for killing potential it would then be 390 with Autocannon. This is slightly less efficient making the gang dip into their stash if they want to buy some wargear, which I am happy with given the killing potential.

Maybe you should give it some thought, first. ;)

I have an Taurox (dammit, no wheels conversion). And, two 3D Rhino's with wheels. All three painted up in Enforcer livery. Probably only good for special scenarios. This looks really solid. Let us know how it plays.

There used to be a really cool conversion kit for the Chimera which gave it 6 wheels (3 per side).

Not sure who made it now.

I mostly have it in my head right now for an ashwaste campaign tool. If someone needs balancing or for some multiplayer madness I can always deploy the party bus.
For the 6 ride alongs I would draw from the Law in the Badlands list. It actually could make for a really fun gang too. Sneak in 2 enlisted scum on bikes with the Hv Concussion Ram option and you'd have 6+2 rolling around. Have to hit up the trading post for some incendiary charges and smoke, but it could make the bikes 8" move really work.

I'd probably remove one Body upgrade slot (you already used two body upgrades) and one Engine slot, because it feels right to me.

Also, adding a Bolter, H Stubber, H. Bolter or Storm Bolter as weapon option should be included.

One thing I'm disappointed in the book of Outlands is there are no base profiles for Chimeras, Sentinels or Tauroxii, these things are just as common as Rockgrinders and Ridgerunners, if not more...

I agree with all of your points on principal. I chose to go a little more flexible for the following.

2 body slots are kinda necessary if you want to offer a second weapon mount and let the player take an upgrade of their choice since weapons take a body slot. The other way of doing it would be to give it a passenger served mount and 1 body upgrade slot. This would basically be a 15 point discount which is why I went with two slots, forcing the player to choose.

I also left it as 3 engine slots (though could go to 2) on the basis that one would likely need to be filled to get it up to M7.

I like the weapons list, but I wanted the starting weapons very limited and pricey as RAW you can put them in your stash and then hand them out.

If you could strap an enforcer bolter to it at the jump it would make the vehicle very cheap and still an effective weapons platform. If you gave it the Heavy B. option you would effectively be giving the gang the ability to take HBs like it's house equipment. Same for the storm bolter.
If your group plays vehicle weapons cannot be given to fighters then it solves those problems.

I do think the heavy stubber is 100% fine since the vehicle is intended to be used with the badlands list. I had it in originally, and deleted it on the basis of esthetics.

For the military hardware, I agree that they should have profiles for them. If you can have las cannons and plasma guns et al. IFVs should be a go too.

Also, since this is a noncustom vehicle, it needs to decide exactly which upgrades it can recieve (the others vary between 6 and 13, with heavier vehicles tending to have more options). For reference, none of the existing standard vehicles can take extra weapon slots (I suspect the idea is that the vehicle rules are the bare minimum to represent the plastic model), except the cargo-8 which doesn't take them as upgrades, but instead have them come with the additional cargo containers.
