Getting old eyes and trying to paint like you did 20 years ago sucks….
As I’m officially in the middle 50s, I decided to pick up some +2 readers last night to see if that’ll help at all.
I think you will like it Punktaku, going off your modelling thread.Nope, but I was looking for some inspiration…. Here I go!
I had trouble with depth perception under a magnifying lense/light.I’ve brought some magnifiers recently, it’s kinda nice to be able to get the models up close again like I used to do. I don’t like painting far away, I like painting up close to my face and it’s a choice of looking over the top of my glasses and closing one eye so I can use the one that’s super good at close detail - or use the magnifiers and actually have depth perception again.
Is it a single lens? Mine are glasses that cover each eye so depth perception is preserved, as you have that 3D separation still, trying to work through one lens will definitely not be helpful.I had trouble with depth perception under a magnifying lense/light.
