What's on your mind?

And the fun is over. Today the game (SM2) decided to not connect to the server anymore. So online play has become impossible. And no, offline play is not an option either for a modern game. I have learned my lesson well in that regard with Injustice 2 (IJ2). My toons were being levelled by the AI for months in order to gain the Legendary Items while I was painting minis. After I have reconnected to the IJ2 servers all my offline progress was erased. Complaining to the support team didn´t help either: "We are sorry for your loss."

In the same vein this also happened to me in SM2. Today in the morning I could log in at first though the game has erased my recent progress from yesterday for some weird reason which meant I went from Lvl 22 to Lvl 19. And all successful Trial missions for the other classes has gone too.

The solution to this was to immediately leave the game and try to reconnect again as this was already the second time that this progress loss occurred to me in SM2 but this time the server has been disconnected to me since now.

Edit:
This issue has been resolved.

Correct me if I'm missing something, but "the progress I made, by using an AI to actually play the game for me, was removed from me" seems like an odd complaint.

Why bother with a game if you don't want to play it?

The above issue has been resolved but a new one crept up. Yesterday I was removed from a mission while playing with bots. The screen is now black and the progress bar reads HOST MIGRATION. Nothing has changed since now. Modern games are a pain in the backside.

Edit: The issue has been resolved too.

An actual conference discussing Warhammer.

Not sure how I feel about it off-hand, but I'd be keen to at least view the recordings they've apparently made.

That’s quite the range of topics on the Imperium. Interesting to see there are only a few Xenos topics (one mentions Tau and one on xenobiology of tyranids). I am most curious about the interview with John Blanche.

The whole thing is fascinating in a bizarre way. Two days of lectures/talks on 40k, and the idea that people would devote such time and effort into creating them.

There were also seminars with practical aspects. Here is a selection of the most popular ones:

- Biology of Orks.
- How to court a Dark Eldar Succubus and survive!
- Disassembling and assembling a Cadian lasgun in less than 45 seconds.
- How to avoid writing a conscientious objection when being drafted into the Guard.
- Tutorial for invoking the correct Omnissiah pleasing canticles when using kitchen implements.

Anyone in the US have an opinion on what is better when rolling over a 401k? Into another one, or to an IRA or Roth IRA?

it really depends on what your goals (retirement) and financial situation
Rolling over is relatively simple.
IRA gives some flexibility with investment
Roth IRA depending on taxes and financial situation may make more sense.

Personally I'm holding my breath until November is over. :X3:
