Wow, these are some truly impressive entries so far everyone! Here's my first ever contest entry, a plastic marine I've had in my bitz box since the mid-90s. I plan to use this for a SW:A special operative or something.

Nicely done!

You must have the steadiest of hands my friend! (Must be the scout-marine sniper genus in you....) ;)

Yak is worldwide so we need to take into account our many Baker Island members.......GMT -10 hours so 10am Tuesday 23/05/17 UK time.

Go Baker Island!

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baker_Island

PS. Due to work I won't be finishing my entry.

Boo Work!

That's a relief (the closing date that is) especially as I bumped into some fellow Canadians in my local pub last night who happened to be from my neck of the woods. Imagine travelling half way round the world ... and meeting someone from the end of your Street!

After introducing them to a traditional 'British Lock In' we didn't leave the pub until 05:00am this morning, and I was far too ... lubricated ... to continue with NorbOrk. I may just have to post what I've done so far as soon as I get back from work today.

Nuts! That is the only C&C I can give. Totally nuts.

Wish I could do that. :D It's like some sort of dark magic!

Hahaha, yup!

"Pile of completely unrecognisable Junk"

Alakazam!!

"Awesome steampunk space-Dwarf-pirate airship."

Great work as always @djmothra !

Great work again @Kommissar Shriken ! Love the rawness of these guys (like raw chaos meat!) the tin-foil spawn is excellent!

Also the "Cadia is dead graffiti is a really nice touch"

Fantastic!

Woo Hoo ... I actually managed to complete something! Here he is, scratch built NorbOrk the DreadnOrk:

The painting needs a LOT more work on it to fully finish it off, but I'm happy with what I managed to do in a day.

My WIP log is here: https://yaktribe.games/community/threads/azzabats-entry-comp-19-bitz-blitz.5687/

This has been one of my favourite comps, and again I'm blown away by the standard of everybody's entries.

Good luck everyone. = )

My entry pales compared to some of the ambition and results shown by the other contestants, and contains far too much unpainted plastic for my liking! But, here more or less is what I managed to kitbash from my bits box in the last month or so - Denizens of Angel Falls

yak-19-entry.jpg

It's been a good comp because I will be continuing to make more models along these lines for some time to come! Many more individual photos and parts lists are on my project log here:

Good luck everyone!

Not long ago location scouts for Hive Guys saw an exciting opportunity in this rusty tin can:

Recruited some new employees:

And jazzed the place up a little using bitz from here:

New franchise now open! You haven't lived until you've tried Hives!

So so many more tiny details on this that I'd like to share with you but cannot in a single image. Therefore check the Wiseman Industries blog here for a whole new slew of photos. Oh, and, have a nice day!

I completed* four of my motley crew. Reworking my theme slightly, here is a slice of the "between missions" part of Necromunda you don't usually see. May I present "The Doctor Will See You Now"...

From top left clockwise:

The Doc - If you need to visit him you must be desperate. He doesn't trim his nails or wash his scrubs. His death rate is higher than his crazy-steep fees. That Inject-o-matic looks PAINFUL. But he knows his stuff, and may just save your life. May. Now, meet his henchmen...

Slim - Originally a Van Saar who couldn't pay his medical bill, he chose work it off. Now Slim guards the Doctor, and has become addicted to 'upgrades', becoming something of a test bed for the Doc.

Severus - A former Goliath ganger, clad in an old, baroque HazViro suit. Severus ensures anyone who doesnt pay up promptly pays for it. He wields a fearsome Autocannon, made more ferocious (and ballistically preposterous) by attaching a Massive Axe underneath.

Dihn - Horrifically wounded in a Hivequake, hot-headed Dihn has had his arm replaced by a blade, his torso reinforced with cybernetics, and his morals almost completely bypassed. At least, that's his excuse...

*Completed? Well kinda. I haven't properly based them yet, Dihn is rough and unfinished, and on the Doc I used the Eavy Metal shortcut of painting mostly what you can see from the front ;-) I'm still really happy with them. Thanks once again for the motivation, praise and support, Yakkers!

Sorry for the late post, I could not figure out how to upload pictures here. I kept getting an error message saying the files were to large, and I didn't have time to compress them. Here is a list of my components.

Assortment of straws

Awesome yummy, delicious fluff, great entry @Xavier Bacon , - and so good to see you finally get an entry in too! - after spending D3 games away due to your infected wound... ;)

Love the characterfulness of this entry and the whole story behind this rag-tag band of malevolents! - really like the Doc and his syringe, his expression is pure Eeeevil!!!

The poses are ace too and I frikken love the "ol Eavy-metal trick" of only painting one side of the model!! - Hahahaha. Might use this one day (it has never occurred to me before, but makes perfect sense!)
