Hahahahaha! - only just tuned-into this (finnaly some time off from Xmas! - yAaaaaaaAAAyy!)

Let me just say - what a fantastic bunch of entries here - I personally would buy EACH AND EVERY one of these from Mad Robot if he decided to throw caution to the wind and MAKE EM ALL!!!

If I was awarding points for the one that made me laugh the most it would have to be @Blochunx and thier Hive Guys Urinal!!!

I've cast my votes - good luck all! - can't wait to see these available on Mad Robots shop/site!

Hahah, thanks @maxwellrpower & @Ned Noodle I didn't think anyone would make out the urinal cakes given my terrible photography skills! I have to admit this wasn't my first idea though. I tried to make a bounty board, but it would've been too awkward to cast in one piece, then the idea for this just popped into my head and I'm just a sucker for toilet humour... especially the literal kind :D

Hahahaha are you sure those are "urinal cakes" - they look slightly suspect to me... I'm not sure many hivers know the difference between a urinal and a crapper (by the looks of it!)

Also, is it just me....? but I always thought those lemon-flavoured-sweets made available to patrons of male urinals tatsed a bit "off" ;)  :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Mine are the 1mm half-round nail art beads I regularly use for rivets, plus some plasticard cut into tiny pieces (offcuts from making Macharius tracks!).

Here's an update after detailing:

I've made it with lots of little elements that will pick up nicely with a quick wash + metallic drybrush, for a speedy game-ready finish, or you can go to town painting details, freehanding graphics on the holo-vis screen, etc.

Fantastic work @Xavier Bacon (once again!) - I love that the terminal screen is super-big so we can "get creative" with what is depicted on this when it comes to painting up the lovely resin sculpt that @Mad Robot provides us with... ;) - assuming you win of course ! - chances are good with the incrediblt detail and sense of narrative on this one!

Whoa, lots of conversation on this thread in the last 24 hours! I'm really glad I had the chance to finish my entry and amuse this amazing community. Just the fact that my project has brought a few laughs to you guys is more than enough of a reward.

Well spotted by the way @The Duke only 2 of the "items" in the urinal are urinal cakes. The third could be what ever your imagination suggests.... I was totally going for a milliasaur larvae obviously. If you squint real hard at my blurry photos you might just make out the sweetcorn shaped chunks of it's newly forming carapace.

I've gotta say I really struggled to pick just 3 entries out of 5 to vote for too, and given the level of everyone's work I'll feel eternally guilty for the 2 I couldn't pick. Best of luck to all the entrants and have a Merry Christmas everyone.

WHAT!? SECOND PLACE  ..... You weren't supposed to vote for mine guys, it was a more of a joke than a real entry. Any semblance of skill or detail in my piece is just a coincidence of the pixelated gaussian blur that seems to be the default setting of my phones camera. I DEMAND A RECOUNT!!!!

On a serious note (quite rare for me) thank you all for your votes, it means a lot to me that so many of you liked my entry. Well done to everyone who entered, and a big CONGRATULATIONS to @Xavier Bacon for his outstanding "Chem Control" piece.
