Loads of greenstuff to do do weapon mounts to build and maybe maim my guitar for some cabling. But I might be able to get this done in time for Xmas.
Meet SD-209 the latest product from Omega Capital Procurement (OCP). Due to the success of our servitor detective unit serving alongside the palanite enforcer's of Delta sector. OCP is proud to announce the next product in this line. Due to the increasing number of large fauna terrorising citizen's and turning whole neighborhoods into hazardous zones. We have decided to skip the safety testing stage of our product development to ensure that these unit's can be on the street's as soon as possible.
"I'll buy that for a guilder"
Almost finished with my Plan B entry. Should get it done by end of the week.
Would actually also fit my original idea in a sort of diorama arrangement, so I might try to finish this one as well.
But I doubt I'll get anything spray-primed these days - it's either rain or snow or both at the same time here.
Gotta wait and see.
My own work on Stumpy was woefully put on hiatus by the fact that I'm kind of trying to graduate early next year and was working on that. But I am confident that work will continue on Sunday and my vision is clear. -ish.
Okay, sorry for the double-post. But due to me working uncommonly fast, I had another 2 hours of downtime, which I spent on my dear little Hydra. And I gotta say, this project is coming along extremely quickly. Almost as if the Hydra WANTED to be finished, which is not worrying in any way whatsoever.
So you may have questions now, like "What the hell are all those bits?", "Have you gone mad?", "Is that a plasma gun in it'S mouth?", "What's in the box on it's back?" and "Saint's teeth, it's hideous!" and they are all valid. Except the last one, which is rude, and not really a question. All will be answered soon. Especially the box.
Right now, building Stumpy is about 80% finished. I need to wait for the GS to dry so I can continue working on the conduit on its back, and there are about 10 oddly organic cable bits from a Helbrute that want to go on there before I attach the cyber-tentacle things where the heads used to be. And of course, I have yet to add a random smokestack.
The Sump Angler-Frog uses its mutant psychic ability to alter the perception of its lure based on the desires of nearby prey - in this instance, thirsty gang fighters... Highly secretive documents held by the Magus Biologis office of Necromunda ponder that the Sump Angler-Frog may be a distant descendent of escaped squigs which were not completely exterminated after the Greenskin incursion onto Necromunda during the Great Crusade. Thousands of years in the deep, dark, toxic places of the hive have resulted in this most unique and startlingly effective hunter.
What do you mean, lead poisoning? These are hazardous times already! Anything down here could kill you much faster than lead poisoning! And just look at this beauty - two eyes in the right places and no unexpected limbs to be seen! I assure you it will be your most delicious meal this side of the Great Collapse. Pulled it out of the sump mere moments ago - look, it‘s still moving. I‘d strongly recommend hitting it with a pipe though, unless you don’t want to eat it for some reason beyond my imagination. Careful with those hands! It’s not a pet! Used to be one of the sumps finest predators. Seen those teeth? What did I say, hazardous times, indeed.
ORGANIC HIVE CARP - come round folks...
Mercator Pallidus Scum Leo Styx, Underhive Fishmonger, trying to sell „organic hive carp“...
A couple of weapon options built heavy bolters and auto launchers. Would be fun to use The actual auto launcher rules from 2ndE with the option of choke/scare gas grenades (for that non lethal approach) and smoke. But can also pack missile launchers. Maybe for when escorting transport rigs through the ash wastes. Nothing blows a hole in a bandits sand crawler like 12 super krak missiles being launched simultaneously from a cyclone launcher. (Borrowing some 2nd edition rules again). Can also mix and match and down the line I'm sure I will build additional weapon mounts.
Feel the need to put some cables under his chin but glued his ankles at 4:00am and made it a difficult area to get to.
With family visit's planned in the run up to Xmas I should be able to take this with me and borrow a decent camera for the final pics.
