Yakcomp 40: "Anything Goes”
This has been most difficult to initiate, but for those who don’t know, we lost one of the most beloved yaks of the tribe, @Blood Donor, this year, and I would like to dedicate this Comp in his memory. I would like as many yaks as possible to enter, and as a special one off, Iv made the barrier to enter as low as it could possibly be: anything goes!
You have six weeks to make and/or paint anything at all hobby related!
Bonus yak points* will be awarded if a yaks entry includes a space marine painted to represent themselves in the new Yakmarine compulsory colour scheme (see below)
Even more Bonus yak points** for including your user name written in the blood donor graffiti style (also see below)
The deadline for this comp will be midnight GMT on Thursday 23rd of December 2021.
Any yak wishing to enter merely has to state their interest in joining in and provide a link to their work in progress thread!
PRIZE:
The Yak with the most votes will become the new YakComp Champion, Win $15 store credit from the ever generous @Mad Robot! They will also win a rather striking 1st place red banner, and have their entry post as the comp header for all time!
Note:
A slight change to the rules will be in play for the very first time: The first four yaks to complete their entries will get to propose a theme for comp 41! This could be any theme the yak chooses and could even be a theme already covered previously, but once the four are in, there will be a poll open until the comp (40) deadline, which any yak can pick their one, most favourite option!
