And now for something completely different. Paint on a mini! I managed some base colours on my scout this evening, feels good! The weekend should give me a little more time for hobbying, but here he is so far.

Will be painting my marines sometime next week I think.

Anybody got any good ideas for how to convert a marine to sitting on a chair?

Also anyone want to throw some Munda flora to add to my Dr Leper?

I have some biker legs, cheers thought. I wanted the legs to be somewhat together, but if worst comes to worst I can repose.

The Trolls been worked like slave by his evil corporate masters recently and not been around the tribe much but seeing as it’s anything goes I’m going finish my version of the THUNDERCUBE as my entry. I need the motivation to finish it and I’d already decided to name a stand after the man himself.

Full disclosure I’ve made lots of it already but I think it’ll take a good few weeks to finish the rest and paint it, it’s a 2x2 table after all …..

I know we've been over this before, but maybe a massive project that is well underway is a bit much, even for the troll?

All due respect and credit to your productivity and creativity, @ClockworkOrange. I wasn't sure if I should even say something, but here I am... Firstly, the rules specifically prohibits half completed terrain pieces, as it gives a massive headstart. Secondly, and more importantly, it may demotivate some yakkers that started a big project from scratch for the comp.

I'll leave it there. These are my thoughts, and if I'm alone with them it just dies here. I am all for discussing rules for future comps, but not here, halfway through a running comp.

This is fair and you are correct, I was just going on the title anything goes! And as even one Yak does not like it the Troll shall withdraw from this comp - no worries.

Of course if there are any parts that are sort of free standing/add-ons to the arena that haven't been started. Concession/merch stands, group of security/stewards, or maybe even a resident cheerleading team. To get the crowd even more blood crazed.

I would like to suggest however, that maybe if the troll does make the cube of dreams, that he may submit only the blood donor stand as his actual entry, as befitting the spirit of the comp!
