YakComp 46 - Feed Me Seymore!

Got a few half-started/abandoned projects that might like to be revived/finished for this. Spent all morning digging through bits and found the three main things I was look for!

Been working on some custom Territories for the campaign I hope to run sooon. The “Snackatorium Syndicate” is one of them, but that is mostly vending machines… and a “Slopper Tent” is another… but I guess we will see what the bits want to be

On the left we have the abandoned platform that was going to be for Scavvy Soup - I ended up not liking the cauldron I made and have since used several of its parts elsewhere. It has space for a tea candle under it.

Then we have the Slopper that a friend threw in when I bought one of his old gangs. It was already base coated and I have since dropped a random colour here and there when working on my Badzone Enforcers (The Gunshoes, lead by Captain Fuchsia)…

…and then there is the blutacced bits ogre, which has been sitting gathering dust for quite some time. I’ve recently had a donation of some more Ogryn/Ogre fragments, so have been looking for an excuse to start/finish this big guy (most of my projects reach the blutac stage, and live like that for years before actually coming to life)

So, guess we will see what this pile of trash turns into!

My plan is to turn an old Rhino into a catering van, inspired by Rhinos being second only to Hydrogen in the universe in ye Rogue Trader days - available to essentially everyone as a general transport befoe the Ass-tarts became all "no they're ours" and "you can't borrow on to take 'hunnies to the skate park' you reprebate"...

...I just need a Rhino. Apparantly even old ruined ones go for a franlky worrying amount of money on eBay. So it might become a catering van of some other kind.

i've had an unassembled mk1 sitting around waiting for a project for awhile now... and while this is an interesting idea, i'm not going to pinch it as i *still* think i would like to make the adeptus arbites transport from the 'eavy metal modeling guide

Looking through my endless piles of shame for inspiration I came across a stash of Sarissa Precision buildings I assembled about 2 years ago. Quick coat of Vallejo texture paste and a white rattle can and I think we’re in business for a little cafe.

I'm on a fantasy binge atm, and I really want to do these in a more classic style, with bright greenskin colours of decades past, as opposed to my usual dark and dirty approach... Will see how it goes, further progress in my plog as and when it happens.

This showed up over the weekend. I've been wanting one of these for my hive for a while but never pulled the trigger on any eBay auctions. This particular one is from 1950s (1952 to be precise based on the Disney promotion) but I think they're still available new.

Too many family obligations kept me from getting started on it already and I'm still waiting for my minis order to come in but I think we can start letting the plastic glue fly!

Errrr... after work that is....

At first I thought I had a business name idea but now I’m not sure…. I was excited to get started modeling but my girlfriend decided she was taking me to see the new D&D movie tonight so there’s that…
