Except that if the specific terrain setup allows for every fighter to be out of sight all the time then the sniper becomes unplayable. For example if you position them very high but ground level is fun and gives too many opportunities to stay out of sight. The feeling I was going for is of constantly weighing up risks and diving between cover. If they stay still then they become more predictable, thus pressuring that decision making less.If I was writing a Sniper Scenario I’d have a clock tower (or Eiffel tower) where Line of Sight is drawn, and not place/move an individual model around the table - Snipers are known to sit in cover, where they have a good view of everything, and pick targets off.
Perhaps imagine them on a helicopter or having a teleporter and are hunting people as opposed to protecting an area. My inspiration is the anime Desert Punk. Specifically the 4th or 5th episode when he is being challenged by sniper for fame.
