The theme for comp 51 is:
“I believe I can fly”
Whether it’s a faithful animal companion, loyal servo skull or trusty jet pack this character has taken to the skies or is at least trying to. Model something that’s in flight, able to fly or trying to fly!
Comp will last the usual 6 weeks ends Midnight UK time on Sunday the 26th May (actually about 6am on Monday, usual caveat).
Standard rules apply. Remember that entries must be started after the comp has begun (14th Apr).
Announce your intention to take part below and keep us updated with those lovely plogs!
Happy building!
EDIT: Voting up! Collated list of entries here.

I invite @MedMos for his win in Comp 50, plus @The Tailor for his 2nd Place and @Ben_S for his speedy 3rd to submit topics for YakComp 51!
(Mutters something noncomittal about @ClockworkOrange's not being a proper entry whilst shuffling some papers)
Once we have the ideas in I'll open a poll for them/open a poll for what we have on Sunday 7th April if not everyone has submitted one.
Why not check out the Brainstorming thread for something to tickle those inspiration nodes (non-nominators with a good idea, perhaps post it there?).
Some of the older comp topics from a few years back might also be worth a re-visit for the newer members.
